There is one flaw that most pick up people overlook and thats the concept of "risk of reputation"

Every action you take like asking a random girl out gets judged and added to your social reputation amongst that community. This is of course worse in smaller communities. But say you a ask a girl out, and get rejected, yea maybe not a big deal to you personally, but in macro sense, other females become to know that you are "that guy" who got rejected. This is why we fear rejected because evolutionarily speaking back in smaller tribes once you ask a girl out and get rejected, all the females in that tribe know about it and it lowers your social value. If you are talking about just being social and meeting people then that probably doesnt apply to this, but im talking about more riskier actions like asking a random girl out.

Well said. I’ve found that the opportunity cost of inaction is almost always greater than that of all other options when it comes to social scenarios. One interaction could lead to a network effect of gaining dozens of new friends/associates

While we all have choices in life, they are not all equal. Some choices lead to growth, others lead to regrets. The choice we make will have an impact on our future. There is no point suffering and waiting. You either live your life or you don’t, but you can’t do both. Instead of being busy doing nothing, you’ll be busy doing something.

Sometimes you have to stop obsessing over the past and get going with your life. We have no idea where life will take us. We are all in the same boat, so we might as well try to get along. Don’t sit on the sidelines and complain. Take action and make a move. When someone does something nice for you, remember to pass it on. It’s easier to complain about life than to change it.
