My STBXW and I have kids. I petitioned her late last year due to her affair with a registered sex offender (which is still ongoing and have legal admissible proof). She got a govt job beginning of this year and lied about all of it. She can't associate with felons at her job, much less have a boyfriend with such a nasty history.

Someone close to me had a mandate to report and turned her in. She will most likely lose her job over this and I complied with the reporting (I'm not a liar and what she's doing is wrong obviously). I live in a default 50/50 custody state but CS is a thing. Talking to my lawyer, they pretty much say CS could come into play due to this, and cause other issues as well.

I was amicable and tried to due a uncontested divorce, even offered some token child support and a good Buyout of the home. This was because at the time I thought she had no idea he was a RSO and she wasn't with him (stupid as hell in hindsight). I've collected a metric shit ton of evidence since the affair was discovered and somehow I missed in her giant log of messages between her and RSO AP that she knew his background.

BTW RSO is not on the registry for pissing in public, more like spent years in jail for possessing and distributing CP.

I'm gonna push for majority or full custody now over this, but worst case scenario it's 50/50, and I'm wondering if I may get screwed on CS simply for doing the right thing and ultimately it was her BS that did her job in?
