Guys, in about a month the house should be sold and she'll be moving 2.5 hours away with both our kids. We've been living under the same roof for a whole year since she told me she was leaving.

To make a long story short I'm doing a lot better, I'm past a lot of the hurt, (at least until we have another heart to heart convo like actually friends and it makes me feel like we're still married - more on that later) I'm feeling a lot better, I've begun to try to set some new goals.

My problem now is I'm starting to have thoughts about her and other guys. Sometimes we both take phonecalls at home where either of us will go sit in the car or we'll go for a walk. The other day she went out and sat in her car at 11:30 pm and talked to someone for an hour. I redirected my attention and focused on hobbies and work. But I in my mind, I should have never felt that. I've come a long way working through the hurt and anger and thought I was through. Living together can make it harder to get someone out of your system but I thought after a year I had gotten over this type of stuff.

My problem is the instrusive thoughts. I know it's inevitable that we will both be considering dating other people. I just don't want to be distracted or fixated on whatever the fuck she is doing. Guys do you have any recommendations to numb myself to this reality and to prepare for seeing her smile at other dudes at public functions but frown at me, hug guys we both know closer than she hugs me, whatever, how can I prepare for dealing with her interacting with other guys. I know this is petty but I don't need these feelings and thoughts distracting me. I'm not ready to go dating or fucking other women yet so I don't want to use that as a way to distract myself either.
