Start simple, go out with the goal just to say "Hi" to as many women as possible. Don't push yourself to do anything more, until you've mastered that. While you are saying "Hi", focus on improving it by making eye contact while you do it, smiling, and paying attention to her response. With practice, you should be able to approach literally any woman on the street, say hi, and know whether she is interested or not all in under 2 seconds. Once you can do that, move onto step 2 and start asking questions or giving compliments to see if you can get into conversations, with no goal. Then once you've mastered conversations, you can start trying to ask for contact details or even suggesting spontaneous dates on the spot. The key is, focus on one small goal at a time, don't approach a woman on the street thinking you want to have sex with her or make her your wife. Just start by saying hi, with no expectations. Eventually, you'll be able to work through the steps so quickly you'll barely think about it.

man you just gotta do what you gotta do, it takes time to get over it, but you have to face your fears. just do it man, its gonna be awkward you may stutter you may fuck up the mood. but you just gotta do it and in the long run it wouldnt matter, plenty of fishes in the sea, but still prior to approaching attractive women try to approach women who you think dont look that attractive, after talking to some of them try talking to an actual attractive women who you might want to have a future with. when a women is not that good looking it takes some pressure off so thats why i recommend trying to talk with females regularly who you dont care as much about. remember practice makes perfect.

Who are these women? If they know the gay guy and he introduces them to you, then I bet they assume you are gay too. How this can be effective? I don't know, but if this works for you, go ahead, you found a way to do it, that's a good start.

If it's not what you want, change the method and instead of talking to guys, go and talk to the women directly and YOU are the one who starts a conversation, don't wait for the woman to say something to you, it's not going to happen, it's like hitting the jackpot at the lottery.

Go to place which is specified to meet ppl, such as networking event. Or any kind of event, even running. Ppl there are more open to talk. Take baby steps before momentum issues built up.
