I'm sad that I likely won't get full custody of my children. We live in CA, which is a 50/50 state, but my stbxw is verbally abusive. I just was the kind, push-over that never recorded any of it. Doesn't matter, I'm playing the long game, and I know my daughters (especially the older one - 13) already despise her - she is always angry with them and blames them for everything. I make it a point to have fun with them whenever we are together; we never speak about the one who shall not be named, and I make sure they have everything they need. no aruging, no yelling, no insults, just love, kindness, and adventure. I hope that my 50% will pay off in the long run. Enjoy every moment, my friend!
