That data simply doesn’t exist and you should be skeptical of anyone who says they have it. People who falsely accuse rarely recant their accusation. This means almost every data point has an enormous error bar. You might be able to find fbi crime stats about the number of reports of DV have proven to be falsified (like the false accuser exposed themself via text messaging or on camera) but it is reasonable to assume that rarely occurs.

These studies are actively being suppressed and or defunded and or sued.

They are actively trying to hide this info

The last I heard about 40%, but a study the pentagon ordered put it at 18%, which is still alot more than the 1-5% percent commonly said.

I had a big argument with my wife about this. She read on some website that 25% of women domestically violent relationships end up murdered. I can’t remember which one but it was a prominent site. We sussed out that this was false but it took a lot of convincing her to do the math with me.

because it's always conveniently left out of conversations on this sub I wanna make the important point that a majority of false accusations come from concerned family members, friends or colleagues. I see a lot of paranoia pedalled on this sub and I think it distracts from the conversation.

the idea that women are rampantly falsely accusing exes is a misconception of the statistics. It definitely happens, but it's nowhere near commonplace. Understanding the context better explains why the accusations rate may appear so high

As stated before, whether wrongful allegations are deliberate, misguided, or misremembered is irrelevant to those accused and innocent. They have been implicated for something they did not do and will suffer the traumatic consequences.
