Truly insane how mainstream misandry is and literally NOBODY cares. And by nobody I mean people who actively have a foothold in the public forum.
If this was about ANY OTHER group of people - no matter the gender, race, nationality, denomination, etc this would cause an absolute shitstorm.
But its about "men" so therefore valid.
If a woman doesn't want to sit next a man on public transport valid. Because, y'know, MEN right!?
If a man doesn't want to sit next to a woman on public transport he's: misogynist, fragile, toxic, an incel.
The more mainstream treating men like dangerous monsters in literally every ontext becomes, the worse this gender divide will get.

The recent french pole vaulter is a big one to me. I cannot find any news on him, or the pole vault really without him being joked about. I can't imagine if a woman's tits caused her to fail that it would be the only thing talked about. And if it was talked about a lot, no doubt a lot of women saying that it was wrong. But no one seems to care that we are sexualizing a male pole vaulter.

All you need to do is change men to black people.

At least I know which company I won't choose for flying.

I'm sure the argument is "if just a single child is saved".

But can men choose not to sit by women?
[–]Davos7941 8 points9 points10 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link
They already have gyms for women only. It wouldn't be strange that we end up sitting in the back... Hmm... Sitting in the back! Where have I heard this story from? (Sarcastic question ofc!)
[–]Tevorino 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link
On airplanes, it's often couples sitting at the back because on 747 and similar planes the back of the plane is the only part of the economy section where there are just two seats between the window and the aisle.

Atleast we don't have to sit with insufferable misandrists. Glass half full?
[–]Raspberryleafs 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Why do you hate women so much? Probably these people had some bad experiences already and there is a reason why they’d choose these specific places
[–]ChargeProper 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago* (2 children) | Copy Link
This is a stupid question.
I was specific with my language and I wasn't broad. I said misandrists, not women.
Also would a few bad experiences with black people qualify you to treat each one you don't know like a potential threat? Stop mischaracterising what I said.
[–]WomynSubsAreModByXY -1 points0 points1 point 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Lmao, the fact that y'all keep using black people as an example speaks volumes.
[–]ChargeProper 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I am black, ofcourse I'd use an example I'm familiar with, what's your point?

I'm happy to able to avoid having to sit next to someone who has a pathological aversion to sitting next to me.
I'm not happy with the degree of unabashed sexism that is promoted among women, nor with being designated as the worse of the two sexes.
Women need to take some responsibility for their mental health and emotional balance and for generally acting like a responsible adult in society.

I completely agree. If I'm flying somewhere by myself, I don't want to sit next to such a misandrist woman. If she can opt to only sit next to other women, then we both get what we want. On the other hand, if she is then seated next to a non-misandrist woman and rants to her about how much she hates men, that's probably going to be unpleasant for the non-misandrist.
I mentioned this to my girlfriend, and she said (seemingly serious and not joking) that if they are going to allow that, then any woman who makes that request should, whenever possible, be seated next to a woman who should have bought two seats and didn't, and ideally right between two such women. The background behind that joke is that my girlfriend is one of those people who needs two seats when flying in economy and doesn't object to having to pay for them (because it's perfectly fair considering the economics of airline travel and the airline is often willing to give some kind of discount on that second seat), but with online booking people can just buy a single seat and then put the airline staff in a tough spot if the flight is fully booked. In that case, it would be fitting to assign an adjacent seat to a woman who requested to only sit next to other women and then say something like "Well you said you didn't want to be seated next to men, and we have accommodated that request. You are not allowed to make any request about not being seated next to any particular kind of woman, so you will just have to make do."

Or she could make a convert to her cause. I'm not really afraid of that possibility, as it's probably slim. On the other hand, I'm afraid of the cumulative conversion effect from such anti-male measures abound and be normalized. The first one or two are gonna be the toughest, for the next couple there would be precedent, for a further dozen it could become an avalanche, and after that it would be just mopping up.

Can women choose not to sit next to other women?
Can men choose not to sit next to women?
Can men choose not to sit next to other men?
Or is it only a one-way street?
[–]DevelopmentSad3095[S] 4 points5 points6 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It’s a 1 one way street.
[–]TheSpaceDuck 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Why not just make it simpler and have men sit at the back of the plane?
[–]Roge2005 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I wouldn’t mind, I have social anxiety when I’m next to women.
[–]jimtraf 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Maybe they should go a step further and stop using men's inventions, like airplanes, cars, etc. Now that would really teach men a lesson.

I mean India DOES have a really bad sexual assault/rape problem if the news is any indication.

Pink and rainbow capitalism are dominant nowadays, and a couple cherry-picked examples don't make this mantra true. Disney goes on, airlines have been doing this same thing for many years regarding men and children, etc.
[–]ThePrinceJays 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah the mantra isn’t always true. It was really meant to be a joke though
