A girl punched me in the throat in high school and got away with it.

A guy I knew punched a girl in the face, after she punched him in the head and he got expelled

Yup. In Elementary School (in France, so about 7-8 years old for reference) I had a teacher who was very much a proponent of chivalry. Basically, if a boy touched a girl for whatever reason, he was punished. If he shouted at a girl for whatever reason he was punished. If he reported on the girl to the teacher for whatever reason, he was punished. Also, if a girl was close to a doorway, a boy had to let her pass through to be able to pass through.

So, now that the setup is... set up. Our recess had 2 bells at, I believe was 2 minute intervals. The first announced the recess was finished. The second announced that kids had to be inside the classroom or be punished.

The girl very quickly found a way to weaponize that. Basically, after the first bell, girls would quickly enter, but one or two would stay under the door on the inside, but still).

By rule we couldn't enter if the girl had not freed the passage. The teacher was looking at that almost proudly. So boys were stuck outside wihout being able to do anything. The first time they did this, a few were punished. The second time, boys not wanting to be punished started shouting at the girls to let them enter, and trying to push them. So, double punition...

Anyway, after a while the boys would not even leave the classroom out of fear of being punished, and it took our entire class parents to ask the teacher to stop that for her to stop.

Well, except all boys were punished a last time for ratting on the girls to their parents...

There was also a time I was sick and couldn't come to school, so she asked a girl who lived close to give me the homework I had to do for the next day. The girl purposefully gave me the wrong homework (and quite a lot, I remember complaining to my mom because it took me 2 hours). She was absolutely not punished. But I got scolded for not doing the proper homework.

How this teacher was still in place is beyond me. And yes, this is true, and I hated that teacher for a lot of years afterward. Ms Steinmann, if you ever read this, fuck you.

Edit : Hmm, also in 4ème (so, 12-14 years old) we had a (male) history and geography teacher who always graded boys' homework less than girls'. Especially when it came to map coloring. After a while, my mom asked the mother of a friend of mine (a girl) if she could color my map, because she always had the best grades for that, so I can see how the teacher wanted the mam to be colored. So she did both her's and mine. I think she got 17/20, and I got 11/20. The maps were virtually identical.

Of course, we reported it, and of course the school director said "the teacher has liberty to grade students as he sees fit". And of course I was punished for not doing the homework myself.

That's every school. I once fell off a bike. I had injred my face and when it was healing, it was itchy as fuck, so I was scratching and picking the scabs all the time one day in class.

There was this girl sitting in front of me who kept turning and telling me to stop because she didn't like me picking my own scabs.

When I kept telling her to turn her face towards the blackboard, as she should be doing, she complained to the teacher and instead of the teacher telling her to quit turning her head back, it was I who was reprimanded for "disturbing the class" by the female teacher, to the point I simply got up and left the class, and I didn't come back until it's over.

I grew up in a family where "girls can do no wrong" wasn't preached, but definitely implied and reinforced by my mom. All of this despite one of my sisters being an abusive borderline narcissist to my parents.

Women are soft, and therefore can do no harm. Very old school mentality.

What's interesting is that the message seems to be turning into "Women are strong, and therefore can do no harm?". WTF?

when i was in liberal arts college i got slapped in the face by a girl in front of a college professor....because i said miley cyrus sucked. a group of girls in my class started ranting about hating when black people came into restaurants...nothing happened. one of the most awarded illustrators in my school stole other peoples work for years nothing happened a guy did it once failed the class forced to repeat....the hot chick in school who was already rich cause of daddy was given the inside info on grants, scholarships, art shows, and contest. my best bud who was living off ramen and vending machine food....kicked out for running out of money.....class valedictorian ultra liberal feminist, who went into rages at the slightest hint of someone making a joke about women, or making art that she felt degraded women......liked using the n word online with her other lib feminist friends....school didn't care she was the prized ultra feminist artist who would go on to take over the art world.....she now has a job a a dog groomers shaving dogs buttholes

I went to a charter school from 3th grade to 4th. And at this school we had a rule where girls could hit the boys 3 times until the boy could defend himself. The girls also could skip in line when we were getting water from the fountain. There was a boy there that thought that was fine so he got mad at me because I didn't let a girl go first so he kinda bullied me and we had a little argument I guess. Idk if it went exactly like that tho because this was years ago. I'm 20 now. For Halloween the boys weren't allowed to wear tank tops. Idk why. Maybe they were sexualizing it. I mean the adults were sexualizing. I wouldn't be surprised tho because I went to a funeral when I was a kid and afterwards us kids started playing so we could get our minds off of the death and so I took my white button down shirt off and I had a wife beater on and the moms didn't think it was appropriate. They sexualized me. Pedo moms. They couldn't hide it. Off topic tho. Back to the school. Anyways I wore a wife beater for Halloween because I forgot. I was so scared I was hiding from the teacher during recess lol. I don't remember if I got in trouble tho. maybe. During recess for a long time the girls would chase me and try to rip my clothes off and they kinda succeeded. It was a lot of girls to. Only a few didn't do it. That's sexual assault tho but nobody cared. It was a good thing I was fast. They were really slow but persistent lol. I was scared to go to school. I really didn't want to because they were sexually assaulting me but my parents made me go anyways. So yeah this school thought girls couldn't do wrong
