A few months ago my wife had began getting really depressed. It was the hardest 4 months of our marriage. I spent every waking moment trying to help her. She was just mean. I mean brutal to me. It didn't matter how hard I tried or how many days in a row it went on. She treated me like she hated me no matter how hard I worked to make her happy. I snapped one night and told her we have to change something and figure it out. She told me to leave her. She said this and was 100% meaning it. I felt like i was stabbed in the chest. She said there's nothing I can do and she's sorry that she's taking everything out on me but she just isn't happy and being a b to me because of it. I refused to leave. Things turned around and we got her our of the depression and she was doing well. That is until all the emotions hit me. I have never felt so betrayed, angry, sad, etc. and it all hit me at once. Just an overwhelming array of emotions. I had to tell her how I was feeling and I did. She's scared to lose me now but I just feel lost. I never had a chance to process or have my own feelings during her depression because I was so tunnel visioned on trying to help fix her problems. Now that all of this has hit me we're back in a similar place. I feel horrible that I'm upsetting her right now but at the same time I just feel completely resentful towards how I was treated and certain things that were said to me. I don't know what to do, has anyone experienced something like this and actually made it through it?
