Well we go to trial in a couple of weeks, and I guess I’m just trying to level my expectations. I’m (39M) she’s a (37f) two kids ages 5 and 9 living in CT. Been married 8 years, my attorney advices me to go for 50/50 custody with me being the primary and her paying support, since Im more involved in the children’s lives than she is. School drop offs and picks up, homework, extra curricular’s etc etc. i work from home 95% of the time. I pay all the bills have been for some time now, She quit her job back in Jan of 23, so she can’t afford the home, so I plan to buy her out. Just need about 6 months to qualify. The deed is in my name only. I agreed to 45% of the equity in the home, one of the vehicles, which she needs to refinance out of my name. 40% of my 401k. 0 alimony, and 45% of the cc debt, all in my named but used for family expenses. I guess my question is how reasonable are my demands and is there anything I haven’t thought of thanks.
