I work in tech and easily half the females I work with are intolerable. Even the females hate working for other females, they actively look for male supervisors and managers, yet the company actively tries to promote females to management positions. My company is female-dominated, females outnumber males at all levels except the c-level, and yet all we ever hear about is the challenges that females face on a daily basis. International Women's Day is celebrated, but any mention of International Men's Day is met with silence. Our company even gives money to an organization called "Women and Children First", and yet nothing goes to male victims of domestic violence.

As a man I’d much rather deal with other men in pretty much any circumstance. Cba dealing with all those extra emotions women have these days. It’s literally like interacting with teenagers. Too old for this shit.

100% agree. Middle aged and older women especially. I’ll give it to younger women, they’ve typically been nicer to me. But I swear, it’s like the mission of older women to terrorize their employees or coworkers

Totally agree. I used to think women would make better managers because they would be kind and nurturing whereas men would be more likely to be blunt and rude. Boy was I wrong. The women managers I've had are passive aggressive and totally suck at their role. I miss working with men.

The organization I work for was trying to improve “workplace health” and was conducting surveys, etc. to determine where & what problems exist and how to fix them.

Without exception the glaringly obvious problems originated in the vastly female dominated sectors. Confused, I asked around as to why that would be. Females working in & outside of those sectors overwhelmingly responded “because it’s all women”.

The more I asked the more I got similar / worse responses (I leave those to your imagination). Unfortunately due to political correctness the truth was never published, the problems persisted and nothing was ever done. Those female dominated sectors are still a hell hole to work in, as bad as ever.

As a woman... By God as my witness I have been treated horribly by the female managers. Not to mention when I go to interviews a few times I was completely ignored while her friends interrupted and talked about going out partying no exaggeration. At salvation army the female manager locked herself in the office taking to her daughter in the phone. Only pretended to do work when the owners made visits. The male owner came in and we talked and he heard how great of a worker I was from other workmates. He was the one who had me promoted to ast manager! Then we got another male manager who pulled me easier because he saw how the female manager was making me do work I wasn't supposed to be doing and he admitted to seeing how I was being treated even though I was one of the hardest workers and always ready to fill in. So he changed that.

Women are not for empowering other women. Their who scream that mantra are straight up lying. The men were always the ones to see my potential. Same with my gfs experiences.

I think that diversity and inclusion measures have kind of backfired in some cases, in terms of undermining the credibility of women in the workforce. Because of hiring quotas and other such things targeted at bringing more women in, a lot of women have a chip on their shoulder because they fear that those around them perceive them as being "diversity hire" as opposed to just there on their own merits. I think that can cause them to be defensive and perceive even innocuous interactions as an attack on their credibility.

Outside of 3 months I worked at Best Buy for a season. I’ve never worked with a woman since in 20 years. And that seasonal job after I got out of the military made me really appreciate that.

Men are more chill. Just about every woman I've worked with has been a pain. And they get away with really shitty behavior because everyone is afraid to call them out on their bullshit. So they continue being a pain with no repercussions. And when a person can be trash without ever being called out, you want to stay miles away from them because they are playing an unfair game where they have all the advantages.

So, what better way to handle that, than to never be around them, while putting yourself in a position where you have much bigger advantages than them.

I will say that women are a pleasant to work with when they are a specific kind of woman. And from what I've seen, hetero women who work for male bosses. They tend to be chill too. Non hetero women tend to be feminists, anti male, and want power more than making a great product.

Absolutely. More vexing is all of the shelaborating -- women in primarily male-dominated fields feel the need to be pedantic about a process or equipment. Just show me a, b, c and bounce.

As someone who lives with all women I’m glad none of them work with me since I know they’d be a lot stricter. Even the strictest male employee there is not as strict as they are, and I don’t even work for them!

If I'm being honest, going over all the coworkers and bosses I've ever had that I truly hate, most of them would be men. I've had a lot more lazy female coworkers, though. I got along with them well enough, it's just I was getting paid the same as they were for doing more than twice the work. So much for the wage gap...
