Camille Paglia's feminism is about equality.

Modern Feminism is about hating men, keeping men down, and convincing women that they have no rights or privileges, when they have more than men.

Posts pointing out female crimes are important because there's this idea, caused by feminists, that men are evil, men are rapists, #"kill all men" etc. It must be brought to attention that women are just as evil as feminists say men are.

A few examples:

Women only scholarships

Women only STEM camps, programs

Lower standards for women in different fields

preferential treatment in family court

Women receive Lower punishments for the same crimes

Men have mandatory draft eligibility

Education promotes and supports girls, while often denigrates boys. Education is structured for how girls learn rather than boys. The result is more boys are drugged, dropout, have lower graduation rates, lower college rates.

Males are often circumcised at birth to reduce sexual function, while circumcision of girls is considered barbaric

A popular meme is "The future is female", it would never be accepted to say "the future is male". It is clearly sexist.

These are all areas or examples of system level discrimination in treatment. It isn't about specific women doing bad things to men.

Granted individual examples are brought up, because in things like domestic conflict, infidelity, and criminal conduct the specific examples so often illustrate the systematic discrimination

edit: How could I leave out divorce court. While men and women are supposedly treated equal, in divorce court the male almost always gets the shaft. Anyone honest recognizes this.

modern feminist ask for equal legal rights, and we clearly see everyday especially in this subreddit that its not the case. we see countless cases of women attacking men, either phyiscally or with false acccusations / family court) and get away with it. reality is society already goes in favor of women, yet these 'feminists' still demands more.

for example, a few days ago we saw a woman stabbing a man multiple times and only got light charges and we never saw it on the news. why? because society thinks that 'becuase it wasnt men attacking then its not important' or something like that. our problems are silenced by the media and feminist, who wants to create an illusion that only men can harm others.

i saw a man on r/advices sayign that his wife took all his money and two of his daugthers on family court. the legal system favors women over men already. yet these dumbasses still demands more 'equality' 🤡

i was falsely accused of sexual assault in school 2 years ago. i experienced first hand how society sides with women all the time, especially in legal matters. my classmates and some teachers were all in my accusers side simply because she is a female and im not. i didnt get the justice i deserved, and till this day, after over 26 months im still having nightmares about my accusers. i was even forced to applogize to the same person who ruined my life, my reputation, made me lose a lot of friends and someone who i loved.

what we need to change is how we all act as a society. men should not harm women, and women shouldnt harm men in any way. thats why this topic is so hard to discuss. theres no easy way out of these problems.

I'm a 47 year old man. I was raised to believe in true feminist ideals of equality by my mother who was one of the first women in modern computing and out earned my father for most of their lives.

Modern 'feminism' is not what I was raised to believe. People calling themselves feminists now seem to believe a woman can do no wrong and men should be slaves, it's nothing about equality of opportunity any more it has become a weapon to use against men.

I think if you do a lot of research you will find that men are not so much "doing the same" to women but have begun to give up trying with 'extreme' female personality types. The MGTOW and similar movements are a lot bigger than most people understand. Men have realised they can not win so they have stopped trying.

For myself I have tried many many times to have a respectful debate with people that describes themselves as feminists but the hate is just too extreme. It is impossible to debate people that believe I am the reason for everything not right in their world.

Perhaps I can explain the situation in one clear example. If I went to r/Feminism and posted the gender reversed equivalent of your post I would be attacked mercilessly for being somewhere I was not wanted, the language used would be beyond insulting and the MODs there would encourage it. If I tried to defend myself my comments would be removed.

However because Reddit agrees that women should beheld to a different standard than men we are required to be polite to you here or have our whole sub banned. We can't tell you to simply F off somewhere you are not wanted. It's even got to the point that just posting here instantly gets you autobanned from many other popular subs that want to show their pro-feminist stance.

Other examples:

-Prostate cancer and breast cancer have similar rates of incident and death. All kinds of programs, funding, promotion exist to reduce breast cancer; breast cancer receives around ten times the funding of prostate cancer. Society basically doesn't care about prostate cancer because it doesn't impact women. Are femnists concerned with this inequality? Nope.

-Treatment of infidelity. Society is much more charitable to women cheating than men.

-Callousness to male death and injury. Males do almost all the dangerous jobs, as a result their work fatalities are around 10 times higher than for females. In conflict like the Ukraine war where around a million men have died, there have been headlines that women are bearing the brunt of the war. Are feminists concerned about inequality in these results? Nope.

I don’t hate feminists, but I do hate idiots and unfortunately many idiots identify as feminists.

I don’t like being called dumb, or talked down to, someone yelling at me is never going to get me to understand their position, especially if my experience is down played and shit on.

The overall majority of women who are feminists (especially the ones that aren’t on reddit, with their deep rooted echo chamber of hate), they aren’t so bad, wanting equal rights, isn’t a bad thing.

Accusing all men of having special privilege, is a farce that needs to be readjusted, we aren’t experiencing this magic privilege you accuse us of. Also men don’t hate women, and our vote isn’t against you, it was for what represents us and our values, you had your vote, we had ours what either one of us do with that vote is none of the others business.

Any feminist looking to have a proper discussion, willing to understand, I will be open to have a conversation on issues, but it’s hard to have when I’m called a racist bigot for not voting the way way the feminists want, there’s a lot of issues and not everything relates to your issues.

Stop saying we hate you, this is only furthering division, start correcting your peers if you really want to make a difference. I try to do that same here by telling other men that the sky isn’t falling and women don’t hate you, and if I reach one person then it’s worth the slew of downvotes it took to get them to believe in a positive future.

This is a great observation, and no, it doesn't matter that you are still in school. Online discourse is toxic and extreme by nature most of the time and doesn't reflect reality. It's ruled by emotions, most notably hate. That is the one emotion that if you can tap into, you'll have anyone under your spell.

I don't know if you are into gaming, but one great example I saw of how HATE is actually the main driving factor in a lot of interactions or narratives, is Baldur's Gate 3. The overwhelming, I would say at times blind, praise it received, was not fueled because people were happy that the game was good. The main motivator for pushing the narrative of it being the second coming of Gamer Jesus, and ignoring its glaring issues, was to stick it to the big greedy companies that often create run-of-the-mill AAA games which are stuffed with microtransactions and exploit people's psychology to make them buy that useless shit for insane prices (some cosmetics cost more than a full game, and are aside from their looks, useless in the actual game, kinda like a "status symbol"). You just disguise the praise as coming from a place of loving the game, when it actually came from a place of hate for some of the industries biggest companies. Some people will just praise the game because they love it, ofc, but it's also easy to tell when someone's main argument is fueled by hate and when it's fueled by love for the topic they are discussing.

All subreddits are circlejerks to some degree, and they will often foster extreme opinions about a subject, even if some of its members don't hold the same views or to the same degree.

I do agree that tons of posts here are "look, woman did bad thing", and I'm not personally a fan of it. There are times when you would need to draw a parallel between two situations handled differently due to only the gender being a factor when speaking about equality and all of that. But yes, many posts just end up being "woman did bad" with no real discussion surrounding men's rights, their issues, etc. happening under the post itself.

It sometimes feels like, I think the name is X-smt Chromosom subreddit, which is just full-on, "all men are bad" but here it's "new age feminists" or whatever (not really all women). But again, it's the internet, extreme opinions are the norm, and hate is the main currency that drives the economy.

So, if you do want to talk about this stuff with someone, talk to individuals who you deem are capable of having an honest and friendly discussion about any given topic. Avoid groups, as mob mentality isn't extinct, and rears its ugly head whenever an "outsider" comes in and says something against the "scriptures."

Feminism in its latest formation is marketing itself as egalitarian, which is dishonest.

I disagree when the terms like "Patriarchy" is used. It is easy to use as a gender hate, and an excuse for victimhood arguments.

Feminism is focused on women's rights, used to provide help and awareness for females.

Men's Rights is on the other hand used to provide help and awareness for males. Men's Rights is also unorganised and many aspects to try and help males is not treated as seriously as many female issues.

There was a woman who had intercourse with hundreds of men in order to get money and gain reputation (for which, she was paid fairly high), then cried and whined about how much of a traumatic experience it was, but then despite everything, said that she plans to do it again the next time with 1000 men, but who do you think did get the blame for it?

Men, yes, you heard that right, a lot of people in comments unironically claimed that it was men to blame, she had been brainwashed by a patriarchal society and abused by men, it was all the result of a patriarchal society yada yada, you know the drill (or maybe not), of course I'm over simplifying and not even giving you the big picture, by hoping that it would be enough for you to get my point, okay, now here, they blamed the patriarchy, right?

In another video, which was a tiktok video of an interview, the interviewer asked american men and russian men this question "who do you think should pay in dates?" or something along the lines of that, most russian men answered that men should always pay since the women are their responsibility, while american men's answers were more equal, diverse etc, in either way, they were way less insistent that men have to be the ones who shall always pay in dates, now, I said you earlier that feminists blamed patriarchy, correct?

Well, ironically here, in this video, vast majority of women mocked american men's answers and ridiculized them, talking about how ridiculous they are compared to russian men, and that they are entitled to be always paid by men, isn't that ironic? Feminists, who are supposedly "progressive", love equality and hate patriarchy so much, actually supported russian men's patriarchal and traditional answers that stand against everything feminism stand for, and mocked american men's answers that were about equality, which apparently, they don't want of now?! Hell, vast majority of, not only feminists, but WOMEN, did that!

So much for their want of "equality", yes... Only when it suits them.

I’ve read a few things that have to do with advocacy and activism. one e.g. somebody made a comment on FGM and male circumcision not taken as seriously. They’re many female victims of FGM that are activists that openly go on platforms (Nimko Ali for example) and speak up about it, as well as making partnerships with well known women’s charities and having open discussions about it. I’m going to guess the same as having scholarships for women (although I wouldn’t know the reason why this was advocated for, unless it was at a time where education was difficult for women to obtain and it’s just never been eradicated). I don’t know much about stable, reputable male advocates/activists out there who go on platforms and discuss very real issues, collaborate with charities, create charities and platforms for men’s issues (inc others such DV, SA in men, mental health, men’s rights in the court system etc)- but the only time I ever see anything male related discussed is podcasts who honestly- grift for clout, clicks and views and almost make a parody of it all. Which leads to real issues not being discussed- just sex, dating, how women are 304’s, any just generally how the opposite sex is unfair etc etc. I may be wrong but how many serious male activists is there out these? Do men actually have these discussions within their friendship groups? Like real, emotive discussions- or even picking up the phone and speaking to each other after a shitty day or going through hardships? Mutual support system amongst other men help.

Dont get me wrong I dont hate feminists, I saw myself as one the last years, till I noticed that the goal of equality I had, was dismissed every time men were disadvantaged. Since than I see myself as a humanist. Yes gender war is mostly online. Best thing to do is stay offline and never take the shit from online into the offline world. Geting to deep into the swamp will make you depressed and hate the other gender.

Please join our movement! It is called masculinism. Our credo is Gender equality for all! How can you be against that? Based on this alone you must support us or you are against gender equality and that's terrible and makes you a bigot.

One small caveat though. In reality we exclusively focus on male issues and ignore any female issues completely, pretending they don't exist or blame the matriarchy or women in general for those.

When you notice this this we will point to our credo (see above) and deny it. Any clear examples of this biased behavior we will call "not true masculinists" while still continueing to support them anyway after saying that (obviously).
