A privilege is a benefit that is granted to some people but withheld from others. (Opposed to a right which generally applies to everyone. So, what are referred to as rights for women are actually privileges, not rights, but that’s another story).

When I read the feminist lists of supposed male privileges, I see a few things that reflect biological and choice differences, having nothing to do with privilege. I see even more things that are just made up or even simply flipping reality. For example one famous feminist list of supposed male privileges starts off claiming men are privileged in job hiring when of course women, not men are privileged under affirmative action (in some areas).

I can name several laws that legally advantage women, thus qualifying as an actual privilege, but when I ask feminists to cite an actual benefit granted to men but not women, I get crickets.

We’re the gender that has to deal with medical personnel cutting on our genitals as infants without our consent and having to spend money on devices to do the foreskin restoration process

Were the gender that gets accused of being antisemitic for advocating to protect boys bodily autonomy

Were the gender that has to deal with homelessness and having to ask random people for money to pay for basic needs

Were the gender that’s forced to sign up for the draft or get stuck behind bars if we don’t

I mean, privilege is always relative on which groups you're comparing. Are cis white men going to be better off than trans men of colour as a group? Yes. But the point is not doing oppression Olympics.

I will say that there is a lot to be said on how the issues of trans men are usually related to stuff MRAs have been complaining for decades. Society has a problem with allowing men to be masculine, the idea that being a man makes you literally worse than a bear. So when trans men are pressured away from transitioning because "being a man is bad," I can't help but empathise.

Really, the only difference between liberal and radical feminists is that the former are too cowardly to admit what their views on men mean for trans people.

In the uk for instance in the late 1800’s a man was legally held responsible for the behaviour of his wife. The law actually permitted a man to punish his wife by beating her with a stick that was no thicker than the size of his thumb

The disease afflicting many western LGBTQ groups is none other than feminism. You’ve not only got males scared of crossing the narrative, you have transmen actively afraid of expressing their true gender because Feminism has no problem associating all of their problems with male biology and men’s psychology. There is no women’s movement with any notable fame that advocates for women to take responsibility for their own actions, let alone responsibility for the clear and obvious power they have over men in several rather powerful ways.

There wouldn’t be a phenomenon such as false accusations in the first place, if a woman’s testimony wasn’t enough to either figuratively or literally end a man’s life. And yes, it happens.

It doesn’t matter if it happens once a week or once a year, it happens and it keeps happening because women have both enormous in-group bias, AND enormous coercive power over men. And men in study after study across numerous cultures show that they consistently will put themselves in danger to save a strangers life of the opposite sex due to a sense of socially instilled duty to protect women from harm. So it’s no contest, women benefit from male sacrifice and men are basically programmed to do so from birth, especially by single feminist mothers… because then they get no positive role model, compounded with male hate and female supremacy rhetoric thrown at him by his own family. Of course he grows up broken. He’ll either be a whipped dog or a raging misogynist by the time she kicks him out of the house, and yeah, he’ll be lonely as hell cause women don’t want to fix the damages caused by other women. It’s the men’s fault for getting upset when we treat them like shit in sometimes violent retribution for the crimes against the sisterhood since the dawn of time. Because the patriarchy has always existed, just like the devil.

It really is both hysterical and a tragedy to watch how a social movement that spreads misinformation and hate… could be public perceived as a benevolent force for equality.

Rapists aren’t the default setting for men any more than criminal is the default setting for minorities of color. It’s just bigotry.

Feminism is built on bigotry. And it perpetuates it well.

Folks with a toxic mindset, particularly those with a narcissistic personality will use tools like gaslighting, deflecting blame, invalidation, manipulative flattery, and assuming the role of the victim to avoid accountability.

Male Privilege is just another nebulous term from these toxic folk to invalidate man’s achievements and deflect blame away from those who cannot, and in some cases should not, compete.

Historically, did men have “privilege”? Potentially yes, however that privilege also came with an abundance of risk, stress, work/life balance and physical burden that men, protectors that they are, wanted to protect women from. Historically men built the world women enjoyed. Nothing sexist or sinister, and for the most part men still make up the vast majority of the roles that build and maintain the world we live in.

In the West, there are countless laws that specifically benefit women, yet none that specifically disadvantage women for the sake of men. Anyone using the term should be asked to cite real examples, not produce some pointless emotional gymnastics.

Same as “toxic masculinity”, it’s just a nebulous term wielded around to deflect from the abhorrent behaviour of many women.

Male privilege doesn't exist but you get trans privilege like a psychopath beat another transgender male to within an inch of his life attempted murder. Got a 2 year sentence and then got let out of prison after 6 months because he was transgender no other reason

But seriously- the real reason why so much of the Feminist movement is up in arms against transsexuals isn't because they're threatened with physical danger, or even feel that they're threatened with physical danger; it's because you threaten to blow the lid off their whole scheme.

Several years ago, I was listening to an NPR broadcast on a long road trip (this was before they drank the Kool-aid, or at least before I knew about it), and I heard an announcement that the next segment was going to be about transsexuals, and their before-and-after experiences. "Well," I thought, "this should be interesting". Then the announcer said that listener discretion was advised, because the segment contained, quote, "...descriptions of looking at women and wanting sex". Not "adult content", or "material of a sexual nature" (which I could at least have respected for being honest), but that the mere idea of being sexually attracted to women was enough to offend people.

I spent a long time staring at the radio in utter befuddlement. It showed me, however, why there's such a powerful political element in any discussion of transsexuality; these people HAVE to be made to feel like victims, and HAVE to fall into line with the "correct" political ideology, or the whole narrative shatters.

Heaven help the heretics.

I definitely got white privelege, also have American privelege. The only advantages of being a male are physical, but let's be honest, they've litigated that power away. Anytime you utilize your physical advantages, you'll end up in jail.

Don't listen to the lies. There was never any male privilege, like ever. The patriarchy has never existed at any point in time. It was always elites/oligarchs, some of which were women, who made decisions for and controlled 99% of the population. If that meant men being shipped off to wars and slaughtered, then there was nothing you could do about it. Women ruled more irrationally than men and waged war more.

I'm intersex and am not treated like a guy, but I see this all before my eyes. I don't have to be discriminated against to see it.

All the time, I see the world stop for women, and see men get run over. It's genuine discrimination and I'm 100% sure history books will discuss the obvious hate towards men that is happening.
