I honestly had the same issue. And I still sometimes get nervous and studder. Often not even around girls I find attractive. Having girls be attracted you is already a great start. Be happy and proud about that privilege. I wasn't there for the majority of my life and had to get there first.

Once I was I noticed that generally people like to talk to you more. So I started learning that. First step is small talk... just talk about what's on your mind. Often what your partner (male or female. Get used to it around any gender. Females wan't to be treated like humans) says will make you remember experienced you heard and you can tell them...

If you have nothing you can ask context specific things (yesterday I was at a youth house and I asked a pair that was at the station after since when they are there and what inspired them to go there and what they did before). Do that until you have something to talk about. Usually a common topic is found way faster than you might expect. But other questions are about series or shows they watch, sports they do or other hobbies? reading, drawing, music instrument. What music they listen to?

Hit me up when you got the hang of that and deeper connections haven't formed automatically.

Eventually you get used to talking about your thoughts and ask these questions and be interested in listenting to their stories. Once you have the habits it won't matter how stressed you are. In fact you won't even be stressed anymore = )

Sometimes you may be just not in the mood, especially if you have some personal issues or problems in life. If you want to change your attitude, start from scratch, make eye contact, smile, come closer. Then you can potentially decide for some direct interaction. Being social usually requires for you to be happy and high-energy, if you are going through harsh episode in your life, you will hardly ever feel the urge to open yourself to others. Take care of that first.

Normal. Focus on what you can comfortably do now, perhaps just a “hi” with a smile. If you can do that, it’s a win. The small wins will build up your confidence and you can slowly progress to longer interactions, like “hi, how are you?” :) Don’t be afraid to break eggs, you are not defusing nuclear bombs.

When you have too many options, too many subjects to talk about, it is hard to make a decision. A few years ago I also had the feeling that I didn't know what to say, I was always looking for something clever/smart/interesting and I did nothing.

All you need are 2-3 funny stories that you will include in the conversation if you know some routines/gambits it is even easier. A routine/gambit is a joke that helps you in the conversation: "I saw your bracelet/ring/necklace... it reminds me of [insert a funny story]...." - now for a minute you have something to say and all you need is a reaction from her and you can create another story.

In the beginning, you will need these things, but in a month or so, as you gain experience, you will create your own routines. Knowing what to say will create confidence and you won't have low self-esteem but at firs,t you need to do your homework.

A trick to beat insecurities is to just do the opposite of what your subconscious is telling you to do, if you feel nervous and want to run away, just stay, recognize what's happening within you and put conscious effort on engaging with the girl.

You can also apply a bit of cbt therapy in the moment, by thinking something like "ok brain i know you want me to run away, but i'll be fine, let me talk with this girl, nothing bad is going to happen, and if it does, i'l handle it"
