Sometimes I talk about my dating adventures with women on the dating subreddits with my main and throwaway accounts. And I feel like a lot of the time, people tend to conclude that I’m the bad guy in the situation.

For example: recently, I met an older woman with whom I got along very well at first, but suddenly acted weird with me, saying contradictory things overnight and even soft gaslighting me. I won’t get into too much details here, because that’s not the subject, but when I told the people around me about the whole situation, everyone agreed that she was being dishonest and even manipulative. And that is while being as objective as possible about it.

When I posted about it on Reddit, everyone sided with the woman, claiming that she was allowed to change her mind and that I just wasn’t good enough for her. The answers were so delusional and disappointing, I immediately deleted the post.

It’s only one example among many others, but I really feel like subreddits like r/dating or r/relationships are biased against men. Do you also feel that?
