Texting in itself is a shit test that cannot be passed because you can't convey tone and context, so the girl perceives your words however her emotions dictate; and when the cell phone is involved, her emotions feel like filtering her options. All you need to text is: “hey, it’s Bob. Let’s go out”. Then arrange time and date and place to meet. You are over complicating something so simple because someone on a subreddit told you you need texting game and to keep girls “warmed up”. Don’t be stupid.

I think it’s normal for conversations to die after a while, i’ve seen it happen with a lot of my friends. The best thing to do is ask her out within 1 week of initiating, max 2 weeks.

Have read to only text for logistics. Then confirm that day. I'll usually text back a bit after work, exercise and a shower. Doesn't always work. People are different.

Flirting is not your problem. Neither is asking deeper questions.

While you're thinking about conversation in terms of how to get her interested, you should be conveying your own attractiveness over text (and how to lead properly) to get the date.

Contrary to what others are saying as well, minimizing texting is not gonna help, unless you're using that to primarily filter out the women who want to text a bit more before meeting. I think it is important here to be flexible instead and have the ability to adapt to each woman, because everyone is different. Some want to chat a bit more, some want to meet right away.

I've come to learn over the years that more women want to chat a bit more first, because their priority is always their own safety first. They wanna know that you are not a serial killer or just someone with ill intentions. Also, time allows them to filter out the weird/desperate/shitty men out there, and a bit of chatting always reveals the red flags easily.

So, learning how to text is definitely key here.

As for your texting game in general, you wanna have a game plan. Know how to lead her from match to number to date. Having a good conversational structure is very handy, because then you're just guiding her through the "phases". Keep it simple though. Mine is just a bit of quick rapport, leading to foreshadowing, at times a bit of sexualizing / romanticizing over text (this is not all that necessary), and then get the date. That's it. Everything else is all about conveying your personality. If she likes your vibe, you're good to go. Also, if you're getting lots of attention, that means you can do less of whatever I spoke about, as compared to someone whom they deem as less attractive.
