I got a professional photographer take some pictures of me and added some to my mix of pictures in my profile. Gave me a couple of hundred extra likes a month. From around 600 to around 1000

The big change was my profile text. It easily doubled the amounts of likes.

It can be a major difference. Tons of guys are on these apps. I still prefer the more traditional ones like Match where profiles do matter beyond just pictures and the women might be more focused on dating and relationships. But good pictures help no matter the platform.

It makes a huge difference. What's crazy is that I put on some weight (bulking in the gym so not all bad weight, but regardless we all know leaner is more attractive) and I objectively looked better before, but because I went out of my way to get new pictures (not wanting to catfish), I ended up getting way more matches than before just because the picture quality/composition was better.

Back in the day I used to use these pictures I took myself with a tripod, trying to look "candid" and I did get compliments on the pics occasionally, but nothing crazy. This time I ended up going down the rabbit hole of AI pics after I saw a thread on here (the pics on the thread looked terrible and fake, but it made me curious enough to start googling) and I found two services that deliver photos of realistic quality specific for dating apps, one is called unrealphotos and the other is called datingshoot.

I ended up going with datingshoot purely based off of price, and honestly it's plenty good to get like 10-12 good pictures that you could run between two different profiles. I even made some custom ones of me doing muay thai, but I also mix in some real pics of me playing tennis. Probably not necessary though.
