It's better to approach a woman who is in a group or with a friend.

It demonstrates much greater confidence.

In terms of the way way women respond when you approach, it's like an amplifier.

When I've approached women in groups, I've had tjror friends (and in one case her mother) try to immediately set me up with them.

Also, it allows them to feel safer.

Just be socially apt: don't ignore the other people.

Address the group when you approach before addressing the woman you are interested in. So:

"[Eye contact with group] Hey, sorry for interrupting you guys but [eye contact with person] I noticed you and thought you were you were beautiful and I wanted to meet you."

Maybe even ask the group if that's ok with them at this point.

My take?

The few times I’ve been approached in a group was preferred over being approached alone, IF you’re a stranger that is.

If I already know you, please only approach when I’m alone. Lol

I can only speak from a club context since I don’t really cold approach groups during the day, haha.

If you see a woman you’re interested in and she’s with her friends, try to muster up the courage to start a casual chat, it’s super low stakes. You can ask about their drink choices, where they’ve already been that night, or where they plan to go next.

Don’t ask for her number or Instagram unless you’re sure she’s into you. If you’re unsure, you’ve got two options:

Risk it for a biscuit: Go ahead and ask anyway coz you never know!
Play it smooth: End the conversation politely, like, “Hey, it was great chatting with you guys, but I’ve got to run/I’m gonna grab some fresh air,” or something along those lines.

Chances are, they’ll still be in the club later (you can find this out during your earlier chat). If you’ve been exchanging those sneaky eye glances with the woman you’re interested in, not asking for her contact details might even intrigue her. She could come back for a follow up chat, and that’s your chance to escalate things.

where do you approach? daygame or nightgame?

back when I used to do daygame I would only approach single sets with no friends. In daygame, you can get away with this because there are more single sets available in the day than there are at night

when I started doing a night game, there was no way I could avoid group sets. even if she alone she’s probably waiting for her friends or looking for them

From my personal experience it is harder to actually build attraction and interest when approaching a group (more than one). I think this is due to the nature of having someone watching the actions of the woman you're approaching.

I want to preface that, I in no way want to imply that women are judgmental and mean. I just want to get across that even among men, there is an aspect of saving face and ego in social interactions. This is what you're up against especially doing a COLD approach. When you approach a group cold, you are coming out in the open, expressing interest, and creating a clear path to furthering a courtship.

Let's look at this from the perspective of 2 girls, one is the target, and one is the friend.

Target: She will most likely think, consciously or subconsciously, about how her friend will view her actions in the interaction. Now, depending on how attracted she is to you and her relationship dynamic with her friend, her actions could change quite drastically. I want to get across that she will act different with a friend, maybe a little different, maybe a lot, but it will be different. This may manifest as her trying to save face by feigning indifference, or even just wanting to get out of the interaction as fast as possible for example.

Friend: The friend might be supportive of the approach, she might also be jealous that she was not chosen. Depending on the person, her actions may very greatly. However, since you approached them both she now has to witness the entire interaction. Since she is witnessing the interaction, she most certainly will make observations and judgements of her own, they might be positive or negative, but nevertheless she will take note of it.

Now, you absolutely could cold approach a group, get a date set up, and start a relationship with a person. What I suggest to you though is to try a warmer approach. Try to start conversations more organically and naturally. Also, I think starting conversations without the intent to ask for a number is also a great way to put yourself out there without putting too much pressure on yourself.

Either way, you're making approaches which is huge in itself. Don't sweat the missed chances too much, you will have lots of opportunities if you're consistent with yourself. Keep going!

Great question, asked the same one a while ago. I cold approached both single girls and small groups (2-3). Even despite I acknowledged presence of other girls, they were not too excited about their (pretty) friend getting hit on.

At best - neutral reaction from friends, at worst - passive aggressive "bye".

So, I get how other people say it's easier to approach groups because the girl feels safer. But the issue of overprotective or simply jealous friends can and will be present sometimes.

I say do it. But in my experience I feel like it's best to keep whole group involved instead of singling out one friend. Singling out one frined makes it obvious you like her and she could be taken, she could feel awkard being singled out, etc. Keep everybody involved in a friendly way. Have a good time. One time I walked up tto a group of girls talking about the drake-kendrick beef. I looked at the quietest girl and said she was mad because she was a drake fan. All the girls laughed and the girl tried defending herself as not a drake fan. It got me in with the group.

I found sets of 3+ the easiest, once you open, the other girls will go back to talking amongst themselves. You just need to make them comfortable with you. Addressing the whole group as opposed to ignoring them, seems to do that better than homing in on one girl.

As for a 2 set, well say you get with the girl. Whats her friend now going to do, either have a wing man or recruit a wingman.
