Tonight someone posted an OP about popular disgust about male nudity. Some comments said either men or women get arrested if they go nude in public. But is that true? Sure, either gender can go nude in some circumstances, like the World Naked Bike Ride. But are women given more slack on this?

In my opinion they are. I've heard of women being naked in public in circumstances in which a man would have gotten arrested. Below is a link about a female professor who attended a faculty meeting stark naked - and nobody made a fuss. She pretends she did it as a protest. But, as the article points out she has a record of posing nude, so she's really just a flasher. One thing not mentioned in the article, but I recall reading about the incident, is that she also went around the campus ALMOST nude on other occasions.
