Great topic. A judge slapped me a $700 per week child support and paid it for 6 years until I lost my job… i make $120k a year… I have no clue how the judge came up with that number because I was not even present. Been trying my best to keep my sanity because EVERYBODY tells me that I should not be paying do much… 3 kids, Boston. Worst of all, I have to continue paying until they turn 23, not 18. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

You didn't mention how much your ex makes. Assuming she works equally, you'll pay $325 / month based on a quick calculation in Florida. There should be a table encoded into law you can use to calculate precisely with your incomes

My calc is only $70,500 over 18 years you need to inexplicably hand over to your ex. Plus the court cut. I'm sure your divorce lawyer will tell you that's a great deal! Although I'm not exactly clear personally on why a grown adult needs to pay another alleged grown responsible adult anything other that $0.00. let alone one who divorced/cheated on you and blew up your family. What do I know though? Congratulations
