I 43M have been fighting for my marriage since June of 2023, have made mistakes but kept pushing, prob took too much of the accountability and blame for everything. She recently told me that she doesn’t see our marriage working and that she doesn’t want to involve lawyers. Neither of us have told any family until after she told me I talked to my mom to let her know what was happening. My wife seems to have no interest in telling her parents and I am confused by this, could it be a sign of her being not fully committed to the idea or am I just seeing what I want to see.

She has been acting like totally normal to me since, friendly as if everything is totally fine.

Has anyone here experienced this before and have advice, I’ve never posted before. I am devastated and my mind keeps trying to find tiny bits of hope.
