I don’t know much about divorce, so I’m just kind of looking for some general info on what I can expect in my situation. I won’t go into all the long details but in short things aren’t going well between me and my spouse been together 17 years married 11. We have 4 children. My wife does not work and homeschools the children. I make 75-80k ish a year and it’s not enough with 4 children and the cost of everything just keeps going up. My wife has stated she is not going to go back to work ever and refuses to enroll the children in an actual school. What am I looking at as far as what I’m going to be expected to pay if we get divorced? We have a house, 2 vehicles, a camper. If we separate do we sell the house and split the money or does she automatically get the house because they usually keep the children with the mother as primary? How does custody work if I’m expected to be at work during the day but my kids are not in school during my work hours? How would I be expected to watch them?

My fear is that in this, my wife would still refuse to work and I would just end up paying for the house, vehicles, child support and have nothing left for myself to live on.
