Why do thry always act like women are the only ones who experience those things. According to the statistics, women commit these crimes at least as often as men, and in some cases about 25% MORE than men.

Stuff like this is funny to me because the exact sources for their words are purely anecdotal, because there is absolutely no formal evidence which suggests that men who hate women think like that because of “not getting laid” only while women who hate men think like that because of rape only.

A big tactic for misandrists is to downplay serious men's issues to not getting laid.

These are the same women that hate men. Because they view equality as oppression. Because they are so accustomed to privilege.

It’s such a good propaganda technique; I mean it’s really hard to argue against something so stupid. Slogans work. Cults always use handy sayings like this and snappy new terms to brainwash people. Feminism does both.

You have to confront why it’s wrong, which is inherently verbose to do, and has you playing defense from the start.

I kinda think pointing all this out- illuminate what they’re doing- might be a good strategy to derail it.

I remember a comment from a woman in some other sub that said "men want just sex" stereotype comes from men which had a lot of upvotes

Which is only half truth because many women especially feminists have this mindset

The irony is they blame every stereotype which affects men on patriarchy while openly participating themselves

I sense the presence of a strawman... framing a dialog between a casual-dressed, "average Joe" working class guy and a smug, affluent, overdressed feminist. It's a bit of speaking at cross-purposes since the guy just answers honestly from clearly not having though much about the oddly-phrased question, and the feminist just regurgitates a favorite feminist misandry rationalization regarding violence and harassment that most women never experience.

But the "conclusion" doesn't give the feminist the better point, just the more hyperbolic. Feminist misandry is indeed "irritating"- bit of an understatement- and seems to have no higher goal than driving a wedge between men and women, so he's right that misandry affects him adversely. The feminist "counters" w something that both women and men can experience as if to explain why misogyny exists... which isn't an answer at all. Widespread misandry that permeates contemporary Western society affects Average Joe a lot more adversely than an imagined Schrodinger's Rapist affects tailored-outfit feminist misandrists (though they do imagine reealllll hard on that one).

The moral of the caption is more: "be careful trying to engage in reasonable discussion w a feminist because you're at constant risk of them essentially just there to troll men." Career feminists get paid to troll men after all.

The guy's next comment- if he were not to simply be backing away from the professional sociopath at that point- might be, "So am I, lady. Everyone runs that risk, but I ain't gonna hate women just cuz the world sucks. And dat ain't no reason to hate all people born male, now is it?"

Then Karen launches into "Oh, so now it's 'not all men.' Well, all men suck because-!"

And THEN he backs away from the black hole he naively tried to orbit... The caption truly does assume that feminists are like trap door spiders waiting to pounce and spread hysteria and hate... The dialog doesn't happen without someone taking the bait to get trolled...

It's incredibly reductive of men's issues and diminishing the impact of "not getting laid" is something that comes off incredibly tone deaf from people who never really have to worry about not getting laid in the first place because they benefit from so much social privilege when it comes to sex/dating. Sexuality is a large part of the human experience, intimacy is a fundamental human need. Women not only have a much easier time receiving these things from men, with no real expectations in return, but also aren't judged for lacking experience either, which means the social cost of not having sex is significantly lower for them than it is for men.

It's also very clear that misandry leads to all kinds of other issues for men, from lower health standards for men, lower mental health for men, greater personal and physical risks for men, all of which lead to greater risks of suicide and drug abuse for men as well, to more violence being committed against men and the mistreatment of men being normalized.

It's also diminishing the reality that, despite the massive amount of privilege that women have in dating, many women still stalk, assault, rape and murder as well, although a lot of it is downplayed or presented as female empowerment. It's also clear that they are exaggerating the amount of risk that men pose to them, in order to hurt man and gain sympathy, which they can use to manipulate.

The funny thing is I only started noticing misandry in women after I dated some and got laid a few times. When I was a virgin I was so scared of being labelled an incel that I overcorrected and assumed all criticism of me and men was valid

You have to witness the bullshit up close before you realise misandry is totally a thing
