A while back I was in a bad spot. Skinny, depressed, and was stuck in a dead-end job id been in for a couple years while still being a virgin at 24, and dating a girl who did nothing but eat pizza and complain. I felt like that was all my life was ever going to be.

I broke up with her and started trying to change. I was tired of seeing cute girls and always chickening out with that regret feeling. It was rough. Most days I got nothing but rejection after rejection, zero numbers, awkward silences, and girls shutting me down left and right. I would spend hours looking in the mirror, seeing how my smile looked, and changing it. I would record myself and listen back so I can change my voice tonality deeper. I started with building skills on dating apps like Tinder and Bumble and then pushed through and developed my cold approach skills with apps like Shawty. I also started lifting consistently cause of the app Hevy and at work I finally grew a pair and started asking for raises instead of staying invisible. I just kept showing up even when it felt pointless.

Now I live in a new city, I’m doing better financially, my body and confidence have improved a lot, and I have 3 girls I’m seeing. The biggest win is finally feeling in control of my life. If you’re struggling right now, don’t give up. It sucks for a long long time but every time you show up you get a little stronger.

TL;DR: Cold approach hurts like hell but it can rebuild your life if you stick with it.
