Been a while since I've posted.

So 4 months ago. Found out she was having another affair. I left. Hired a lawyer. She signed a seperation agreement. Waived alimony. We split assets 50 50.

Since then. I moved accross the country. Our house closed. Im debt free. New job. They threw in a brand new BMW as a sign on bonus.

I just got my new apartment and man... I love it. Its just me and my son now. We got all brand new furnishings. Decorated and got the place exactly as we want.

I tell ya. For years after finding out about her first affair... I tried to forgive and reconcile because I didnt want to be alone. And let me tell you, that was dumb. I absolutely love it

Our new place is posh AF. Its like like living in a 5 star hotel. Private. Secure. It has a village on the street floor with bars, restaurants, shopping and even a comedy club. Underground parking.

Also, the amount of gorgeous women going to the yoga studio here... Holy crap. And walking my dog around, brings the women in to pet him.

I never realized who I was until I left. Im happy again. I dont have that tumor of a woman anymore bringing me down. I have my confidence back. My smile. My life.

I know so many of us feel like things will never be right after this process of divorce begins. How someone we gave our life and many times, youth to... only to see them smash it and thrown aside like it means nothing. Its hurts. It really does. But that pain does go away.

All I can say is... keeping moving forward. Things will get better and one day you will look back and realize this was for the best.

For me. I know im built different. A survivor of sexual assualt (by another man) when I was a kid, I've learned what it takes to not onky survive.... but persevere. The trick for me, dont give these monsters the luxury of permanently affecting your life. If you focus on all the wrongs done to you, and let it consume you, it controls you. Do not give them that power. You have 1 life

Learn from it. But dont let it define you.

Happy friday everyone
