Well, that's certainly not a strong starting argument, since that's VERY common in videogames. And in other media like films as well.

It would be better to wait for the demo to come out, collect clear instances of blatant hate speech, and then present them.

I got into mens rights through gamer gate. I was in game design school at the time. I don‘t like the idea to shut down games because of „what it represents“. I didn‘t like it back when feminists tried to do it and I don‘t like it now… like when they banned „Hatred“, a game about a guy running amok.

We don‘t even know what the message of this game is, only the premise, though looking at the previous work of the developer I get an idea.

If you‘re not that into artistic freedom and more into getting back at feminists, go ahead.

Hello I'm the developer here. I didn't know such a subreddit existed. I'm very sorry that this game is perceived as hatred when my entire catalogue has been satirical stuff. While I understand the imagery and presentation may have a lot of "manhating" undertones, it is mostly about the character in a fictional universe. Many shows such as The Boondocks or South Park portray characters in a similar way. The full game will be releasing on July 13, so I'd like it if you gave it a chance before jumping to conclusions.

Important to note that all of Helena's targets are moderated by a third party organization that assigns targets based on wealth, profession, archetype, etc. Helena simply filters it to just men. Adult, of course! There is a lot of self-awareness in the full game dialogue. I've been super busy with the development of this game, so I can't address everything.

Also I'm a man. I'm not trying to incite violence towards my own gender. I know what I'm doing. DUH!
