Nothing boggles my mind as much as the idea that if you get drunk and have sex you have been 'coerced' and were therefore raped. This essentially makes me a rapist. When this idea first started cropping up, that was the moment I realised feminism truly is fucking retarded. How can anyone trust a movement which paints any man who has had drunken sex as a rapist?

When you drink, you 'consent' to have your mental condition changed. This results in you consenting to things you wouldn't have otherwise. If I wake up after a night out with some ugly skank in my bed, i was not fucking raped. I will sure as hell regret it, but i realise this could happen if i drink to much so guess what? I make sure not to drink to much. Tell a woman to stop chugging vodka and it's 'victim blaming'.

This comment is actually pretty reasonable and something you'd expect to see here.

When someone shifts blame to drugs/alcohol/lack of hugs, I think there is the notion of an escape hatch. It's easy to blame others, it's harder to look yourself in the mirror and accept responsibility for a morally questionable act.

I'm the kind of guy a lot of people confide in, even on a first meeting. On a recent (first and only) date, a lovely woman told me that she had cheated on literally every one of her (many) prior relationships. She had never not cheated.

This is the important thing. Most women were quick to jump on their soap box to discuss that it was obviously a decision. The problem comes from the fact that this was even being discussed. A correlate situation would be someone posting a question here about whether men and women are different.

Yes. There's no situation in which you literally can't keep yourself from having sex with someone - unless you're so intoxicated on drugs or alcohol that you're not in your right mind, in which case it would be rape and not cheating.
