Feminists will keep on using that word because because of it's supposed shock value. I feel that by overusing it, they are weakening that term. It will still have the same meaning of course, but its connotations and shock value will change with its excessive use.

I think it's already been overused to the point of ridiculousness. It only takes a small bit of reading feminist discussion before you see how badly they watered down the term. It's like the SRS fools calling everything ACTUALLY HITLER or any of their other idiotic baby talk.

Dictionary definition: Misogyny = hatred of women and girls. Feminist definition: Misogyny = Anything I don't like associated with men.

Let them overuse the word. To anyone paying attention it just puts a big flag on their comments saying (this person has nothing useful to say and just throws meaningless insults).

I disagree. The most effective political weapon is riducule since it is nigh impossible to defend against it, so we should increase use of the term misogynist. Then people won't trust the term.

I choose to instead simply call out feminists who use "misogyny" incorrectly, I find belittling them publicly on the simple but meaningful things to be very effective.
