An introduction: I am a 19 year old girl who is constantly bothered by her feminist cousin as well as other girls for my opinions - I've even been called anti-feminist. Please do call me out on anything you think is biased or flat-out wrong. Your criticism will be appreciated! Here goes.

  1. Men have emotions and are also human beings (yes, I've been fought on this one)
  2. I do feel a little uncomfortable when I'm walking home late from work and there is a lone man walking behind me - not because I believe all men are rapists but because I don't know which one might be.
  3. I don't feel offended when I catch someone checking me out because, quite honestly, my body IS an object and as long as I`m treated with respect it doesn't matter to me.
  4. I know that the male mind works differently than the female mind (my area of study is male psychology).
  5. I think the mental health system needs to be modified to deal with the different needs and perspectives of the male mind as well as to deal with the social conventions forced upon men.
  6. I dont think theres a problem with a woman asking a man out on a date and I don`t think this will have a profound impact on the relationship
  7. I don't think men have a "one-track mind" in terms of sex
  8. I think it's possible for a woman to have a purely platonic (friendship) relationship with a man
  9. There is no difference in the skills of communication between men and women

Go ahead and critique these points, or add to them if you'd like. Thanks!
