Boys get worse grades when subjectively graded by largely female teachers but do equally well on objective standardized tests. I wonder what could cause that difference?

What amazes me is how few parents speak out about the documented discrimination their sons face in education.

For those who are out of the U.K. this also has another possible negative impact in that if you can’t sit the exam for that topic for one reason or another like severe illness, death in the family, etc etc.
The exam board will grant you the predicted grade your school submitted. So a girl predicted A+ and a boy predicted C+ will get those grades if for example they both couldn’t sit that exam. Despite of course the real results being different otherwise.

If you were to break this down by gender you would find the female teachers are the most biased against boys, as found in prior studies.

As someone who genuinely tried their hardest inside the school system to succeed it's so crazy to see stuff like this because as a society we have put a heavy finger on the scale of success tilted towards women and yet reading something like this just validates my lived experience that it really is like this and I'm not imagining it. Gender equality and feminism are not the same it's a supremacy movement
