How do I stop myself for feeling rude when I ghost a lvm who has apologised and is trying to restart communication

They always apologize. Their apologies mean nothing. A man will consciously rape you and then he will apologize and think that's perfectly fine. It happened to me.

If you don't want to ghost him, just send a text message that says "I don't want to talk to you anymore. Goodbye" or some other variation. Then you block him.

Blocking someone who treats you poorly isn't an overreaction. In the past nobody had access to other people 24/7 like they do now with smart phones and social media. They didn't have the opportunity to pester you constantly. Unless they came to your house and stalked you which probably got a lot of men beat up.

You don't have to be nice to someone who's being rude to you and you also don't have to continue to allow him access to you perpetually.

It’s ok to have boundaries. It’s not rude, it’s completely healthy. He is a complete stranger, and you don’t owe anything to him.

I suggest blocking him with no reply, and no chance to argue. But if you really want to respond, you could say “I’m not interested anymore, but best of luck to you out there. Take care.” And then block.

Don't reply and don't feel bad about it. If you happen to meet him again in real life and he asks about it just say "you were just sooo busy and forgot to reply, sorry":)

Do you think guys feel bad for ghosting you because you didn’t communicate on their terms? Heck no. So don’t see it as a loss. We aren’t starter girlfriends and he’s at the age where he should know better

You are not responsible for other people’s emotions. You ARE responsible for setting your own boundaries. We are raised being made to feel bad for setting boundaries and it’s pawned off on us as being too sensitive or too demanding.

People who don’t respect your boundaries do not respect YOU.

i think you are projecting your kindness onto him, which i struggle with as well

i would say he at the very least needs to do more to make it up to you. i wouldn't reply. he would need to send me flowers or something. but i'm pretty new, so maybe listen to the more experienced women on here.

Something that has helped me get past my need to be kind to men who don’t treat me well is to think of ghosting/blocking him as protecting and standing up for someone I care about (myself) just like I would a friend or sister.

When you look at it this way, you’re not being mean, you’re actually being kind. Just because the kindness is for yourself doesn’t mean it isn’t kindness.

Think about it. Would you feel “rude” after standing up for a little sister or best friend? Or would it feel good to protect her?

You have to always be a fiercely loyal friend to yourself.

The fact that you don’t want to give a LVM another chance is a good sign. Glad he apologized but that doesn’t mean you need to talk to him. He will get it if you keep ignoring him.
