I only had one female manager I respected, and that was because she earned her position.

She worked her ass off, and I saw it. She doesn’t bring up how she’s a girl, or whatever.

When someone actually earns their position, you don’t mind listening to them.

Maybe that is why I kept getting let go from jobs. Every time I had a female, "immigrant," "person of color," as a boss that pulled this I would tell them the following: 1. I don't give a fuck where they went to college. Education is education. Good on them for graduating. 2. I don't give a fuck where they are from as long as they came here LEGALLY. 3. I don't care about their ethnicity and gender as long as they can do the job well (hint: most couldn't/wouldn't do it to their potential and would delegate its tasks to others as smaller jobs). 4. As long as THEY were respectful of others and did their job; I would do mine. Maybe that is why I kept getting in trouble and things. I guess holding a boss to the standards they SHOULD be held to is wrong. Oh well. Who cares? The past is the past.
