Women value four things above all else and will sacrifice 100 men to get or maintain those things. Your rights have no meaning to her if any of these four are affected negatively.

Her Children's personal safety and security
Her standing or status in the community (peer group)

The order my vary by individual but are pretty constant, they go back to before civilization. Maintaining that protection and status why women behave an d vote the way they do.

Men have to compete directly for status by what we accomplish and how we behave in society, even those men born to powerful families have to compete for status at some point.

Women's status is based on who she is, who she marries, how she behaves in society. If she chooses to compete with men directly, historically women lost their protected person status in society. By competing, she got her hands dirty and bloody, losing her moral high ground. This is why you see so many double standards today, in schools and work. Women are trying to have it both ways and largely succeeding in maintaining those double standards. Which is why men are largely going their own way.
