I don't understand why women can't be pleasant human beings who are polite and respectful to men. Many older women I know (like 60+ years old) treat men with respect, but younger women just hate them and treat them like shit.

Then they preach on social media things like "be kind" and "spread love, not hate". The common argument is "these are not the same women" but actually they often are the same women.

I've never went on a restaurant-dinner date. Always drinks, or something else.
Defenately would not do that, for a first date. I always reserved that, onlt for women I already had some sort of relationship with. It's to expensive. To much effort for a first date. You don't even know each other. Lunch I might have done, but that's kinda same as a Coffee meetup to me.

Happened to me once. We talked on Tinder all morning, I asked if she wanted to meet at a restaurant. We confirmed the location and the time (6pm). So I stopped texting. This was around 2.

I got there 10 minutes early, texted I was there, and went inside. She replied about 20 minutes later, "OMG, I'm so sorry, I thought you cancelled, you stopped texting."

Uh, yeah, I thought we were on for the date. No need to keep texting after that. But whatever. I made the best of it and enjoyed a nice dinner by myself. Not the first time I've ate alone in a restaurant. I travel a lot for work, so eating alone is something I've done before and will do again.
