A lot of it has to do with the psychology of the animal kingdom too. Felines, even the large ones, are wired to associate prolonged and direct eye contact as a threat.

It's very Red Pill when you think about it - understanding the behavior of others to achieve your own goals.

There's a certain level of confidence that can only be obtained from experience/struggle.

That experience/struggle is the line between ignorance and confidence.

The ignorant make decisions on the fly because that's the lifestyle they are use to. They get lucky every now and then. They can get away with it for the most part. They think with their feelings. It's about what they want, not what needs to happen.

The confident make decisions from their experience. They know that, hell or high water, they will deal with the consequences of their decisions. They think with their experience. They make calculated decisions.

The ignorant persist wars. The confident win wars.

These men probably learned the act of intimidation by watching lions. Lions do the same thing to other predators. They simply walk up to the kill and declare it theirs. Confident with experience as oppose to ignorant men like that idiot filmmaker that got his girlfriend and himself eaten by a bear.

Reminds me of an encounter i had with a stray dog here this other day.. I'm 17 and 6.6 tall not that big of a frame but i'm working on it.

I was walking home from the trainstation and i took a shortcut through some fences and stuff, halfway there i jump a fence and as i'm about to go through a bush this stray dog comes up to me and starts barking very aggressively. Instead of whimpering out and loosing my frame i just stared it down and tried to tower over it untill it just ran away with a squeal.

Never loose frame, not even to a rabid psycho killer stray dog, they're simple creatures and they follow the rules of the jungle.. just like women

Is this part of a ceremony or something? It doesn't seem very practical ... even without technology it's much easier to hunt down a meal than it is to follow lions around until they finally, after who-knows how much waiting, kill something.

You can push a lion pretty far before it attacks.
