There are a few good resources from the sidebar on how to "next" your wife. I am currently on the ~year improvement plan suggested in the thread here, and my Plan A is improving myself and strategy towards wife, and I hope that she takes notice and decides she wants to change her behavior. That said, however, every good Captain has a Plan B, which I am also putting into place behind the scenes.

Sitrep: both of us early 30s. No kids or major assets yet, which is a huge advantage. No cheating or abuse, so no entangling legal problems there. I have job flexibility which would allow me to easily skip town tomorrow and not return. She works and makes okay money (I make more). I love my wife and do not want to divorce, but the patterns of behavior she's exhibiting right now are not acceptable to me and I will not tolerate long-term.

Honestly, I would be able to pack a few bags and be out of here in 1 hour with all my stuff - all the furniture, etc is fancy crap she liked and has slowly replaced our apartment with, and I would be more than happy to leave it.

Guys who have been through a divorce - what advice does MRP have for preparing for a divorce that is different from standard MRP practice?
