Anyone know any good books on "ambition"? Building a business, being an artist, leading a crusade, starting a cult, etc. Looking for some fiction, non fiction, documentaries, memoirs, whatever you got.

We are people. We have things we want. We've just learned to stop going for what we want. Stop doing what society, your parents, and you've trained yourself to do. And do what you want to do.

Without apology.

That's called ambition.

I always think of Atlas Shrugged as the ultimate book on ambition.

I think The Fountainhead is the better Rand book on ambition.

Sir Ranulph Fiennes. Some of his later stuff are purely pension supplements, but he has done some serious manly stuff.

Bring the heat guys but I vote for:

"Long Walk to Freedom: The Autobiography of Nelson Mandela" although it is more perseverance than ambition.

Amway has a ton of self-help/business builder/ambition books like:

--Think and Grow Rich

--The Magic of Thinking Big

--The Richest Man in Babylon

--The Go Getter

--The Power of Positive Thinking

Yeah, I've read four of these and I liked them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
