My wife doesn’t like my mother. She has zero reason not to. However, she depends on her to come out and visit for things like the birth of our children, when I go out of town for work, etc.

But my wife always finds a way to have an attitude problem with her. I’ve talked to my wife about it and she denies it.

Well, her mother doesn’t like to fly. That’s it. She hasn’t visited us once in almost a decade. But yet everything her mom says goes...her mom is always right with baby decisions, etc.

This time around, I’m simply telling my wife that my mom isn’t coming out. I want her to realize how helpful my mother is.

Does this do anything to teach her to appreciate my mother more?
