Give him a book (NMMNG is my rec) but his attention will not and should not be on self improvement with a baby imminent. The book will not be read.

Lead your brother by example.

Become the change you want to see in him.

Become the awesome motherfucker you can be, and when he asks, spoon feed him out of the largess of your study and implementation of MRP as a praxeology.

In other words, learn the sidebar for yourself well enough to teach it to someone else.

If you feel you HAVE to give him a book, I recommend MMSLP. It is the softest of the 3 prerequisites and paints with the broadest strokes addressing his overall marriage which you said was riddled with problems.

There is plausible deniability with the wife as he can say he got it to be a better man, husband, AND father.

Of course, opsec would be better served if he downloaded the free Kindle app to his phone and you sent it to his Kindle app as a gift.

RedKnighting is dicey under the best of circumstances. You might be slightly more successful with your family, or not.

I'd work with him and covertly lead him through the first two levels of Dread over the NEXT NINE MONTHS.

After the baby, the wife, years of fucked up marriage, etc., he can benefit from a MRP foundation 6' deep.

Remember, there is no emergency. Nobody is going anywhere for at least a couple of years.
