More a field report and looking for advice on how I handled it.

First off, I didn't take it off to pick up women, I get more attention through pre-selection with it on. I take it off when I go to the gym and sometimes forget to put it back on. Well it's been 3 or 4 weeks and I have no clue where it is, probably long gone.

So I approached telling her with the exact emotion that I felt about it, not thinking of her frame or what her reaction would be. I was pretty matter of fact. "Shit, I can't find my ring. Looked everywhere for it, thought it was in my gym bag but it wasn't, have you seen it?"

She of course flips out and then turns on me saying "Why aren't you more upset", probably trying to elicit an emotional response from me so that she could have someone to fight with and vent her emotions of being pissed off to work through her own anger.

I remained Stoic, "of course I'm upset but getting angry and upset isn't going to help me find it." Well that was the end of the emotional outburst, she calmed right down. She obviously is still upset, as am I. However we didn't spend a week fighting about why I ever take it off in the first place or her treating me like a child that can't take care of his things.
