I've been lurking for about 2 months and have started devouring a lot of side bar stuff and reading. Married 4 years both mid-late 20s with 3 kids I actually started lifting a few months before I stumbled on RP and have made some gains, but I was pretty skinny with no muscle before so as long as I keep progressing that's what I'm focused on in that department. There are definitely a lot of parallels with lifting and going from beta to alpha. The thing I noticed about myself that was causing so many issues was my wife was the thermostat in our home. I stayed at a comfortable 70 but she was all over the place and that impacted where I was...she was at 100 so it brought me up to 80. What I've realized lately with this is that staying at 70 no matter where she's at seems to work better for me in the long run. Even if she's flipping out, if I don't budge a degree and when the heatwave is over it goes back to normal quicker than when I start climbing up there with her which creates lingering issues even if I'm not taking it to the level she is. It would seem frame is the fountain all other good things flow from? Still a long way off from where I want myself, my frame, and the marriage to be, but how do you know when your frame is where it should be before implementing more advanced things to avoid going rambo? Some obvious ready signs, etc.
