Good:

I realized how much of a waste and crutch online dating is. I dont' think I'll ever go back. Being social is way more valuable and rewarding.
Went to a nice gala on Saturday -- not the official one I thought but oh well!! My work friend has converted to an actual friend.
I may have a date this week!! Yay!
Fresh weave this past week yay! Weaved up until March next year. I hope to retain around 3-4 inches of growth.

Bad:

Women still think 12 years age difference is too great. I think a 40 year man and a 28 year old woman is NOT EVEN CLOSE to inappropriate but some people think so. I was told that 33-35 is a better match but whatever. I don't want a man just hitting his stride. I want a man comfortably in it.

Ugly:

Nothing!!

Good:

I have stayed on track for my workouts for over a week now! I've struggled with this hurdle for a long time; it feels good to overcome it.

I have been reading more, which has helped with distressing!

I have a great interview set up for a new job!

My hair is looking amazing ever since I switched to sulfate free shampoo! The difference is night and day! (My hair care post is here.)

Bad:

Nothing too bad. I could have eaten healthier this week. I need to start packing healthy snacks. When I'm out and about my hunger causes me to want to be immediately satiated, and that is usually a McDonalds run because it's quick. But I would be just as happy with fruit and nut mix, baked chips, etc.

Ugly:

Nothing, yay! :)

BONUS: No SO at the moment!

Good - Started house hunting yesterday. We went to three open houses and got a better idea of what we wanted. I opened up to the idea of new construction and it wasn't the most horrible experience ever! We saw some really nice high end construction from a specific builder, so now we can look on their website and know it's quality work.

Bad - I was feeling very unheard during the house hunting. I had picked out one house to look at that had fit into all of my BFs must haves, and he kept saying 'sure we can go look at it... But after this one'. And eventually we didn't have time for it. It hurt and I got a bit moody about it (I was also pretty hangry). But after dinner my mood improved dramatically and I was able to get over it!

Lessons Learned: Carry snacks

Ugly: Nothing too ugly to report this week!

Last time I complemented my SO, was on Thursday, date night. He wore this tight black shirt that just activated all of my goth receptors. Oh yeah, he was hot that night.

Good: Several things actually!

Finally got my split ends trimmed! Bring them bouncy curls once again! :D
I went on a shopping spree for hair stuff, inspired by /u/queenbee126's post about shiny hair, as well as skin care stuff. I randomly found a specialized store for hair products, and I found some great stuff in it! Can't wait to test it all out!
I managed to play the peacemaker and act as a mediator in some family drama (I didn't insert myself in the situation, I was simultaneously asked by both parties for help). It felt good to manage to defuse a quite explosive situation.

Bad: I didn't catch up with all the RPWives post. :(

Ugly: I ate waaaay too many chips again! :(

BONUS: Last big compliment I made to my SO was a few days ago. He got his hair cut and his beard trimmed a bit, and he was soooo hot! (He always is, but with the fresh cut and trim he was even more!). I was staring in awe and after a while said something like "DAMN you're sexy as hell"!

Good: SMOKE FREE FOR ~~OVER~~ A WEEK NOW :D feels like longer I guess lol

his week I really mitigated a lot of instances where I normally would have gotten coocoo in the head. I'm very proud of that. I feel like I'm able to better predict when I am going to need to calm down BEFORE I get out of hand. but...

Bad: I still got snippy. It is a weird week for me in terms of work and home so I was trying to play superwoman a lot. I mitigated most stuff but not all. Need to get better at not over booking my calendar. However, I've seen that for the next few weeks, I only have routine stuff to do so I'm happy about that. I'm going to try to just relax rather than having to keep my calendar jam packed with stuff. I'm sure my SO will love it :D

ugly: skipped a couple of meetings for aa this past week. need to get back on the horse.

Bonus: I told my SO last night as he was getting changed "OOOO DAMMMMMM BABY YOU IS FIIIIINNNEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Good: Had a lot of fun at the family wedding, danced all night and went to a spa afterwards, had a great time :)

Bad: Maybe going to regret how much I ate at weekend, and back is a bit sore from leaning up for dancing, so need to make sure I make gym classes

Ugly: was a bit snippy at spa after we had a couple's massage - wasn't happy to see young and attractive masseuse doing leg massage on husband!

Bonus: I guess I just told him he was very manly but fun and plays along with our daughter, but it was also comparing him to Gru from despicable me!

But earlier I said how fine he looked at the wedding Saturday in his 3-piece suit :)

Good:

I managed to leave all of my work and work stress in the office this week. It was hard work not just going into rambly venting mode when I got home, but I realised that that type of complaining was a habit I was forming, and nipping it in the bud made it a lot easier to cut that out entirely.

SO and I have officially started house hunting! It will be my first time buying a house so all the paperwork and banking and everything is very daunting to me, but he knows all the ins and outs with property so I know he won't let us make any bad decisions. It's really exciting to be taking this big step together!

Bad:

I have a super social week planned, which is nice, but it means I'll be eating out every night this week. I'm trying to mitigate the damage by having very light lunches and no alcohol.

Ugly:

None to speak of :)

Bonus:

I fell asleep before my SO last night, and half-woke to him taking his shirt off to get into bed. I vaguely remember mumbling something like "woahhh you're hot" and going back to sleep. Does that count?

More seriously though, he spent a couple of days this week helping my teenage cousin with some homework. My cousin never really had much of a father around, and he really looks up to my SO and mimics a lot of his behaviours. I mentioned to him how glad I was that my cousin has such a great male role model to look up to.

Good: Hit the gym 7 days out of the last 7! I used to have a great schedule and system, but I started slipping into a little bit of a depression. I also managed to keep cooking healthy, nutritious meals throughout the week even though I didn't get to go grocery shopping on Sunday. For some reason, that's always the thing that screws me up.

Ugly: Well, I lost my job on Friday. It's both ugly and good -- the place was making me extremely unhappy and was a very unhealthy environment. I'm talking boss stumbling in after his liquid lunch, screaming and yelling if he isn't calling us from the bar at 2pm drunk out of his mind.

But I'm resourceful, and if nothing else, my fiance is about to have the cleanest apartment he's ever lived in :)
