I understand the other reply saying not to do it and it doesn’t add much value.

However, I’ve had a different experience with a recent plate.

I rarely send anything or text etc simply because I’m busy. But sometimes when I’m traveling for work especially I’ll send a selfie to the girl of what I’m up to.

The amount of appreciation I get for such little effort is surprising but when I’ve done it she’s brought it up afterwards in person “oh you looked so good in that picture you sent” or whatever. I don’t do it often but when I do it’s usually positive.

You can send all of the pics of yourself that you like, but if you plan on sending any nudes or photos of you doing illegal / compromising stuff, definitely crop out your face, wipe geo/location info, and send it from a Google Voice number and/or a fake account or snapchat or kik or something.

Always plan for the worst case scenario. Exes from hell do exist and a lot of people are petty and try to turn your life into a miserable hell hole simply because you were incompatible as lovers. Always plan for your safety.
