Someone explain to me how misrepresenting your gender to someone in order to get them to be physically intimate with you isn't attempting to get sex without real consent?

Seems to me something like that is a pretty fucked up vile thing to do and isn't worthy of any kind of "understanding" and/or "awareness".

[–]lemonparty 71 points71 points71 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

If a dude had pretended to be a chick to get into a woman's pants there would be blood in the streets. But since a man was victimized here, it's all good. In fact, he's happy to have been victimized. That's how far we've come.

[–][deleted] 17 points18 points19 points 11 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Fucked up isn't it?

[–]Endorsed ContributorInvalidity6 points7 points8 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I believe this is the main point that the opposition is missing. They see the anecdote as a victory for abolishment of gender 'stereotypes' without seeing the potential can of worms this could become. If this type of behavior is accepted, then all such similar actions from a man who identifies themselves as a female should be accepted as well.

But we know this isn't true. Females will denounce it as deception and rape.

[–]Josh_The_Boss3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That was my first thought, and I would be fucking pissed if this happened to me. But then I got to this part:

I had a lot of mixed feelings. I wasn't upset with her, but I was definitely surprised and wasn't sure how to sort it out in my head. After about 15 seconds or so of silence, I remember saying, "I think we found your hoodie!"

This keeps the tone light and humorous, like the whole thing was one big joke instead of a dude dressing up to receive physical pleasure from an unknowing third party. If the tone would have changed from this to OP being upset or angry, then I would be willing to bet money that some of these encouraging comments would change to sympathetic or equally as mad remarks.

Of course I can't account for all the white knights on this site, especially in a subreddit by the name of AskBetas (seriously?! you can't make this shit up)

[–]UltraMittens36 points37 points38 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Its okay because when you're gay/fat/transgender/part robot/animal in a human body you're better than some scummy hetero white privileged male and therefore should be treated differently.

I mean, the male patriarchy held her down from revealing her true self until the last minute. Her dick was literally being repressed in her pants.

[–]jerrytheman19983 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Her dick was literally being repressed in her pants.

Cracking me the hell up there. Better yet, the beta OP said "I think we found your hoodie!"

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

He didn't find a hoodie. He found something else.

[–]jerrytheman19980 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Indeed. Which is why I thought it was odd he didn't just go "oh god a dick" and then leave. I guess some just think differently... lol

im currently studying a health degree and literally every single one of my tutors/lecturers are all feminists and make sure to announce it at the start of every unit, one is even a trans. We had a lecture on trans people specifically the other day and the issue of trans people not being upfront about them being trans came up and they were trying to say that trans people should not have to say that they used to be a different gender i spoke up and said that was ridiculous and was instantly ostracised and made out to be a villian I just laughed and went on with my day. typical bullshit

They have it covered. Once a dude puts on a stuffed bra and makeup, he really is a woman. Like, they really consider that person's gender to be female.

That's why it's not without consent.

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points17 points 11 years ago (39 children) | Copy Link

Yeah if someone did that to me I would go off on them

[–][deleted] 34 points35 points36 points 11 years ago (38 children) | Copy Link

Nobody on Reddit condemns this behavior. It's fucking reprehensible.

There are entire subs full of screaming redditors pissed off at dudes trying to figure out how to get past LMR - but being gay and misrepresenting yourself as female to a guy is totally OK?

Is it me? Am I tripping? Or should they STFU about their hypocritical morality?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I think you might be living too much of your life through the eyes of social media.

Why do you even care what Redditors are saying? We've proven over and over again that they are the worst representation of a cross section of society.

Seriously, EVERYONE is here to complain and bitch about SOMETHING. At this point, you're lumping yourself in with them. Do yourself a favor and find a way to get your emotions in check on this issue. You're acting like a Redditor - like a beta, like a woman.

Remember your primary mission to maintain objectivity is that if you ever have a problem with a system, it is not your responsibility. Your only responsibility is to yourself to learn how to game that system, how to benefit and profit from it.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything.

Its an example of prioritizing being PC over your personal pride - one of the default definitions of beta

[+]EliQuince-34 points-33 points-32 points 11 years ago* (34 children) | Copy Link

'misrepresenting' is not how you should describe it. If anything it's closer to how that person identifies. Most transwomen and drag queens aren't trying to trick anyone, I'm not saying there aren't those who are, but that shit can literally get you killed and we know it.

Why can't men be allowed to be pretty too?

Get over yourselves- you're not so fucking attractive that someone wants to trick you into their bed. Why can't people just be attracted to who they're attracted to without all these accusations that they're being misleading? You want to make it out like it's a choice to be trans- yeah, because most trans people LOVE losing their friends, jobs, families because of the discomfort they feel in their own skin, being ostracized from society for being them-fucking-selves - For most, expressing themselves as they truly are is the only thing stopping them from killing themselves. in b4 'if you are trans then you should kill yourself'

Edit: Keep the downvotes rolling y'all, showing your true colors here :D

[–][deleted] 19 points20 points21 points 11 years ago (32 children) | Copy Link

Why can't people just be attracted to who they're attracted to without all these accusations that they're being misleading?

This is the whole con.

You have every right to live how you want to live, but if you know straight dude has no idea you're sporting a rod down there and you go down that road with him without upfront disclosure - you're an asshole.

I'm not saying there aren't those who are, but that shit can literally get you killed and we know it.

Nobody deserves murder, but that's shit is a personal violation and you know it. Trans do it willing to roll the dice that they may catch a straight dude in a moment of weakness.

The whole point of this is that with all the rape culture bullshit that's out there and all the fucking whining and crying over "cis" dudes trying to get a little sexual satisfaction in their lives - especially with the confirmed consent law going on in CA - trans people should not have carte blanche in this area.

Think about it for a moment. Apply the confirmed consent standard to this situation and then tell there isn't an inferno of hypocrisy going on here.

[+]EliQuince-17 points-16 points-15 points 11 years ago* (31 children) | Copy Link

Trans do it willing to roll the dice that they may catch a straight dude in a moment of weakness.

You literally couldn't be more wrong. This is exactly what I'm saying- most trans people are not trying to 'catch a straight dude in a moment of weakness' they want you to be attracted to them for who they are, not what's in their pants. Because for every straight guy that rejects them for being trans, there's another guy who fetishizes them for having that genitalia. And believe me, there are plenty of so called 'straight' dudes who would love to bang a transwoman- so your argument is invalid. To quote Trainspotting, it's all aesthetics anyways.

Also, if you could possibly be killed because of what's between your legs, how willing would you be to immediately disclose that with every person that's attracted to you that you are trans? Mind you, this is something that trans people struggle with every day - and comes from warped perspectives on society ingrained in our psyche by a gender rigid culture.

This is an incredibly warped perspective that needs to be changed on y'alls end.

And how is that a personal violation? Sorry that someone should be themselves around you and you not accept them, but somehow that's their fault?? No, I really don't understand that. So you were attracted to me before you knew I had a dick, but somehow that changes when you realize I do? And I should feel like an asshole because of what you are attracted to??

[–]Endorsed ContributorInvalidity19 points20 points21 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You're absolutely correct. People shouldn't be informed of STDs either while we're at it because that's disrespectful to one's privacy.

[–][deleted] 16 points17 points18 points 11 years ago (27 children) | Copy Link

You are putting out an image of something you are not. You do not have a pussy - you have a cock.

As soon as that cock gets busted out, what you are becomes real and that's when shit gets real.

All the make up, and plastic surgery and women's clothing is an illusion. People use illusions to misrepresent reality and to fool others.

Straight men are attracted to women, when we see cock where a pussy should be that is not a happy moment for us - you should know that and you should respect that.

But you don't... You think you're entitled to play your fucking game and fuck with people's emotions in order to get your rocks off. To make it worse - you try to turn it around on the dude like he's the asshole somehow for being upset by it - like the fucking bullshit you're trying to lay down in the TRP sub right now.

That dog won't hunt up in here.

This is some real vile manipulative bullshit to run on people - and yeah some dudes don't take too kindly to it - that's why you're being told to go fuck yourselves or worse.

[+]EliQuince-21 points-20 points-19 points 11 years ago (26 children) | Copy Link

You are putting out an image of something you are not.

You obviously have no understanding about what it means to be trans. Transwomen are women, sorry if you can't accept it. Maybe you should look at the brain scans of transwomen compared to actual women. There are plenty of women who 'mislead' you with their online dating pictures, be it with make up or use of camera angles, is that any less 'reprehensible' in your eyes?

Some trans women have pussies, some transmen have pussies. It's not an 'illusion' it's an expression of self, and we are lucky enough to live in a time where that's okay. Sorry to burst your bubble but most of society is ahead of these backwards, repressed views you hold.

And yes, that guy is an asshole for being upset by it. Again, how dare someone express themselves in a way which you find attractive! Because if you find it attractive to the point that you have to question your own sexuality, that's an infringement on your personal boundaries, and it's 'manipulative bullshit'. Grow the fuck up.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Trans women are women

That's what you tell yourselves to rationalize the feelings you have that are different from 96% of the male population and what you do to resolve these different feelings and feel normal.

I don't have a problem with that. Everyone has a right to pursue happiness and maintain a level of sanity in their lives.

You can identify as however you want to, but you don't get to tell me what I think is male or female and how I should feel sexually about it.

You got one huge case of the hamster if you believe you have the right to tell others what they should see as desirable or undesirable.

You can't get caught so far up in your own rationalizations that you feel outrage when people don't share your POV.

You want me to see you as a woman? I'm sorry that's just not possible. I can respect your right to have human dignity and go along with much of the pretense, but I just cannot see you as a woman and have a base level of self honesty. I cannot act as if you are are actually female in every situation especially in such situations where my personal boundaries are not respected.

I just can't. This is about as nice as I can put it.

[+]EliQuince-11 points-10 points-9 points 11 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

You want me to see you as a woman? I'm sorry that's just not possible

Oh really? Tell me that's not a beautiful woman. If you didn't know she was trans you would see her as a woman. How are your personal boundaries not being respected when you were the one coming on to her??

[–]234908652438795264876 points7 points8 points 11 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link

You obviously have no understanding about what it means to be trans. Transwomen are women, sorry if you can't accept it.

Plastic surgery or hormone treatments don't make you a woman any more than simply wishing to be one. You can even become a woman legally but thank god you can't legislate feelings of other humans. A piece of paper does not define gender, an injection does not define gender, a scalpel does not define gender, having or not having certain genitals or size and shape of your chest don't define gender, your gender is defined by your chromosomes alone: XY for male, XX for female. It's not surprising that people who want to change their gender see gender as a fluid social construct, but for normal people the question of gender is the question of "what is your original design". You may call it hate, bigotry or homophobia, I call it being honest to others and yourself about your true nature and your limitations.

Maybe you should look at the brain scans of transwomen compared to actual women.

I'll consider that when we start shedding our bodies to migrate into brain jars.

There are plenty of women who 'mislead' you with their online dating pictures, be it with make up or use of camera angles, is that any less 'reprehensible' in your eyes?

You come to a restaurant and order an expensive high quality steak, after you ate some of it what would upset you more: to find out that it's in reality cheap frozen supermarket meat, or to find out that it's formed out of processed worms and cockroaches? Now a lot of people in the world actually like eating insects, it's a staple food in many cultures, some people who never ate them may even be willing to try it, but staging a deception like that will most likely cause them to throw up in panic because they weren't ready. Isn't it better to be upfront and honest about such things rather the deceitful in hope that the person will forgive your deception ex post facto?

[+]EliQuince-9 points-8 points-7 points 11 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

Okay, I told you not to go with the chromosome nonsense. Ones sex can be male and their gender can be female. Again, Gender =/= sex, GENDER =/= SEX.

I'm sorry that you feel the need to classify everything in such a rigid way, but unfortunately for us that's not how gender works. It is fluid, and I'm sorry you can't accept it as 'normal' because it is.

Isn't it better to be upfront and honest about such things rather the deceitful in hope that the person will forgive your deception ex post facto?

And 90% of transwomen are upfront about it, this is the issue. I'm not really sure what you're getting at. I don't even think the transwoman in the OP was deceitful- he was attracted to her and found out she was trans. So what? He came onto her, it was nothing that she did wrong, and all of this shit saying that it's 'vile and manipulative' are just ignorant and close minded. If you feel a connection with someone, why does it matter what's between their legs?

Your downvotes are not do to homophobia, transphobia, or sexism. They are due to the fact you are not addressing the issue. This person tried to engage in sexual activities with this man under false pretenses.

If this person identified they were trans prior to making sexual advances I'd be 100% fine. The guy would have been making an informed decision.

For example what if this person instead of trans had a communicable STI and failed to disclose this and went for sexual contact without informing the person? We'd be unhappy and if protection not used also blame the other person as well.

[–]Homard806 points7 points8 points 11 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

It is fucked up I agree. I also like the "Askbeta" part. As for the whole "vile" evil undertone... IDK. If you randomly make out with someone at a party... you get random. She showed him the truth before it went any further.

I don't see it as a huge deal really.

[–][deleted] 16 points17 points18 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

If you randomly make out with someone at a party... you get random.

So caveat emplor in other words? That doesn't apply to women as well? Only straight dudes have agency?

She showed him the truth before it went any further.

Yeah after they were making out for 10 minutes? You mean, when "she" had no other choice but to show what's up?

Seems to me like maybe it was a hail mary play to see if the dude was dtf on the bait and switch.

[+]Homard80-9 points-8 points-7 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

caveat emplor

Yeah pretty much. They talked and connected. They kissed over said connection. I don't see it as totally weird.

This applies to both Male and Female. If a girl dressed up as a dude and 'connected' with another girl... they went somewhere and kissed... I would say the same response.

It was TOTALLY a hail mary! This person has a confused sexual identity (or at least she/he did.. IDK what to call her/him). There was feelings brewing and the situation unfolded. Once there "moment" kinda came back to reality... she probably felt bad and exposed the true situation.

This person is obviously not a bad person (but could be I don't really know)... considering that OP is still friends and went to the wedding years later.

Luckily I have never been in this type of situation.

However, a have a really good friend who is a Lesbian... for some reason guys assume I'm gay because I hang out with her... gay guys love me. Sorry boys!

I understand that you would be massively pissed off if this happened to you. (IE: Genuinely made out with someone of the same sex.) This could have also been a blow up, but the guy reacted calm... probably because of the respect/connection that they established.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

If this were ever to happen to me I sure as hell wouldn't exchange numbers with the dude. I'd fucking be pissed.

Yeah, usually when people pull some dishonest vile shit on me I don't become their friend.

Talk about beta behavior.

However, a have a really good friend who is a Lesbian... for some reason guys assume I'm gay because I hang out with her... gay guys love me. Sorry boys!

Its called revealing hypocrisy

[–]anonlymouse0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

We already know feminists are hypocrites - there are far better examples of it than this.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Not in the least. Their stance on IPV is a good one. This is forgettable.

[–]ohboyahuman1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm a dude who likes some relatively weird stuff. However, it'd be a huge turnoff if I wasn't told by the girl that she was transgender before she decided to kiss me. It's just the honesty. It clearly is a huge thing in her life. She could be hot as hell, but if she lies out of her own insecurity, then I'm out of there. If she told me, contrary to a lot of people in this thread, I might be down for things short of me touching penis. Maybe I am a little bi (is that an issue here?). However, the dishonesty would turn me off more than the penis.

Also, being someone who hangs out with plenty of gay actors from time to time, I don't think their goal with drag is ever to seduce straight guys. The woman in this story is clearly a woman throwing in the towel as a dude and taking the hard road to the easier life. It's obviously working for her because she was convincing enough for this dude and her husband to support her through her insecure white lie bullshit. She's probably pretty convincing.

[–]CanadianMastermind0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Someone explain to me how misrepresenting your gender to someone in order to get them to be physically intimate with you isn't attempting to get sex without real consent?

Just for the record, what would have been the ideal sequence of events in your mind? ie, when should she have told him? Just prior to kissing him?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

There's a 1000 different ways of avoiding that situation. Let's be real here.

[–]CanadianMastermind1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I realize that. I'm just trying to get a sense of what you believe would have been an acceptable sequence of events. Transgendered people aren't going to wear t-shirts or signs that identify them. So given that, at what point should it be brought up in conversation?

[–][deleted] 16 points17 points18 points 11 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Ok, an unrelated topic, but bear with me here. This incident, in all fairness, was a case of sexual harassment. Right? I believe it was. But our guy here hasn't been bothered by it in the least. That's pretty apparent. He's not traumatized, he's moved on, it was just another weird day in life. And most people agree with him, even applaud him. Cool

Now my question: Is it solely the society's perception and reaction to an incident that ultimately determines the amount of trauma it causes to the victim? If we didn't make such a big deal out of sexual harassment, then maybe it would end up causing the victim less of an emotional trauma? (That is, provided, it's not a continued source of nuisance and just a one time incident)

I was molested several times as a kid. Never sex or real abuse, but still molestation. I was diddled.

To this day it hardly bothers me. I almost got upset once when I realized how much of a victim it made me, but realized that as long as I didn't convince myself it was something damaging, it wasn't.

I've been hit on/touched by gay dudes in my adult life and just laugh it off. It's never gone too far because I draw boundaries when I have to. Not everything has to be such a huge fucking deal.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking to confirm. And had you actually reported the incident and got the authorities involved, you would have become that kid with molestation history. I can't imagine anyone having a normal childhood with that tag.

It's so fucking ridiculous because the society, in all its overzealous efforts to weed out sex crimes, is actually making it all the more tough for victims to report it. Nobody wants to live with the "victim" tag for the rest of their lives.

[–]anonlymouse6 points7 points8 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

There's definitely a case to be made that a lot of women are more traumatised by feminists convincing them they were raped than by the bad episode of sex they felt they needed to talk about.

[–]234908652438795264872 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Even actual violent rape I believe would be less traumatic if you weren't convinced your whole life that it's such a horrible thing. Take for example feudal Japan, men were raised to believe that they have honor that they must protect, and when the men ended up doing something that damaged their honor they would willingly commit suicide because the society has programmed them to. I believe we are doing the same to female rape victims now: we make rape to be something so horrible that the victims gets stuck in an infinite loop thinking about the incident and reliving the horribleness of it until it becomes unbearable to some and they commit suicide while others are emotionally crippled by it for life. The fact that a lot of females not just feminists still consider sex to be a more or less degrading and shameful act for the female doesn't help either.

[–]Endorsed Contributorleftajar1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

YES. A thousand times yes.

Women hamster themselves into an increased amount of pain.

In World War 2, military psychology experts conducted a study. They noticed that, when guys were getting non-fatally shot on the battlefield, the guys would stop fighting. In short, they would act "wounded."

To combat that, the experts created a public service announcement for movie theaters. It shows soldiers getting shot in the arm, and then continuing to perform their duties.

After running this PSA for a while, it worked. Men took the hint, "manned up," and kept fighting while wounded.

We, on the other hand, are encouraging females, the more easily-effected sex, to feel that rape is an *absolutely abhorrent crime, that permanently changes the lives of every women effected."

It's utter malarkey.

[–]2niczar0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Is it solely the society's perception and reaction to an incident that ultimately determines the amount of trauma it causes to the victim?

Not society directly, how the person perceives it. Cognitive dissonance + social proof.

That's why the worst thing you can do if a girl you've banged expresses remorse is to appear remorseful yourself as a good beta. If on the other hand you appear sure of yourself, that what happened was great, it won't feed her rape hamster.

Same mass of people that got TxC to the front page, got this guy to /r/bestof

Reddit is becoming more and more radical, in the same way I'd never visit 2Xc, they wouldn't visit TRP.

Without assigning merits, is obvious to see why people don't like reading with what they don't agree with.

In my case, I believe that constant "I need support/I did what most men wouldn't" is popular enough to warrant this and 2xc the spotlight.

edit: I am still depressed by the fact that TxC is a default subreddit and will never get over it.

Were there a "males complain about everything" subreddit, what would happen?

[–]wheyapartment[🍰] 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Coming from 4chan, I've always seen reddit as a validation machine. People post popular opinions because they want upvotes. They're so desperate for validation, attention, being seen as "good", etc. that their views change over time and eventually they wholeheartedly believe the popular opinion.

It's funny how everyone is raised to believe that they are "unique and special", yet their opinions change to match the norm at the drop of a hat. So much for being individuals...

I like TRP because it's the one slice of reality we have on reddit. Everything else is idealistic to a fault. Reddit is fantasy land for people who can't accept reality.

[–]LittleCrazee2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There's a pretty big hive-mind demographic in here as well. Lots of people who simply regurgitate what has been said by others and view it as the gospel without ever really living or experiencing it to see if it's true or not. People with differing opinions get down-voted to oblivion. TRP is definitely not an island free from insecure people. One might make an argument that it is quite the opposite... As much as TRP does have a lot of exceptional ideas, it is still a very human construct and by extension, very flawed in some ways.

[–]widec1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Were there a "males complain about everything" subreddit, what would happen?

You mean /r/ForeverAlone? Obviously not male only, but it's the majority demographic by far.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's like someone took what I said, and made it into a far more depressing reality.

I can't even imagine the kind of person frequenting that subreddit. My life sucks, I'll go find a community of other people whose lives suck. Don't they say your personality becomes an amalgation of the people you spend the most time with? Misery loves company I guess.

Pretty good example of a lot of beta redditors mindset, same guys who claim they would get married to a girl who has fucked 500 guys or would try a cuckolding fetish if she asked cause sex is just sex and they wouldn't want be intolerant now would they? All sexual deviancy must replace the norms of sex, and if you dare reject this you're a close minded intolerant asshole.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

It's about not compromising who you are to the point where it becomes allowable for people to commit transgressions against you while you sit slump shouldered with a stupid dunce grin on your face like some beta dipshit.

[–]nofaprecommender-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

"We talked for a long time... about her transition, about what had happened that night. She asked me repeatedly if I was upset or angry. I told her that I was neither, just that it was a new experience that I had just had, and I'm trying to wrap my head around it. While for me this was a deal-breaker for a physical, romantic relationship - I told her I really enjoyed her company and was very glad that we met.

That was about 15 years ago, and we're still friends today! She ended up outgrowing her hoodie about 10 years ago, and ended up marrying a man 3 years ago. Went to the wedding with my wife and kids. Really cool person."

The guy who it happened to was not angry. What would you advise Ultimate Alpha to do in this situation?

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

I'm not saying I would kick the person's ass, but I wouldn't think Oh this person just tried to Baitbus me into a sword fight, what a cool person!

[–]nofaprecommender0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Fine, that's reasonable. But that is your personal reaction. I just do not see how that particular reaction can be derived from the basic TRP principles alone. There are even some guys who might be alpha, hold frame with women, etc. etc., and still be down to make out or more with a dude. Some studies have shown that homosexual men actually have more testosterone, on average, than heterosexual men. Now, I recognize that there is a strong subtext of conservative politics on this forum, but I don't see how this guy has done anything which is in violation of the publicly stated TRP-philosophies. I don't see how the option of being civil or even good-natured about the situation is inherently beta. The only lesson I would take from this is to be extra careful of who you hook up with if you're worried about pulling a man in disguise.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Part of holding frame - in the larger context - is to limit transgressions made against you - and hold those who do transgress to account.

Not sit there and have a beta discussion on acceptance afterward.

[–]nofaprecommender1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

But the dude in question did not feel transgressed upon, you're feeling transgressed upon for him. That's just white-knighting.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You think I'm defending the guy? Really?

Sometimes we stick up for other dudes, but this isn't one of those times.

[–]nofaprecommender0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Obviously you're not defending him, but I think you are projecting feelings of transgression in a transaction between two parties of whom neither felt transgressed upon, which is the other component of white-knighting. He never said at any time that he was grossed out, horrified, or upset. Suppose he is just the teensiest bit gay and he liked it just a smidgen after it happened. Or (if you believe it's possible), he isn't gay but he just enjoyed it anyhow for the novelty of the experience. How would you fault him then? For being a little gay? For liking a once-in-a-lifetime homosexual experience while being straight? Do you think gay men have a place in the schema of the TRP world? Note: I'm not saying it's a crime if your answer is no.

The thread in response to this on bestof made me sick. I had no clue that people actually think that a transgender person should not tell you so before making out with you. And if you want them to tell you they aren't really a woman? You're an evil person!

I think anytime I talk to a woman I'm going to have to ID her within the first 10 minutes to make sure it's really a woman. Because apparently transgender people don't tell you until "about the 5th date" (A transgender person actually posted this in that best of thread and they were hailed as such good people to actually tell the guy by the 5th date). And apparently I'm an evil person if I don't want to make out with a guy dressed as a girl. This society is sick.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I cannot believe anyone in this World is calling a MAN with a PENIS "she". That is the actual definition of delusional. If you do this you're not open-minded, you are a true ass.

[–]ImreallyIgnorantsory[🍰] 11 points12 points13 points 11 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link

I don't really see anything wrong with this, he made out with someone he found attractive and stopped when she revealed she had a penis. He only really had two reactions to go with, react like an idiot and make a scene or talk to each other like human beings and go from there. Its clear he wasn't down with it so they didn't take it farther

This is so fucking trivial I don't get why you posted it here, did you want this guy to freak out and make a scene or something?

Or are you actually bigoted enough to hate on transgendered? I don't get it, what reaction do you want here?

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

So what you're saying is that this isn't a form of sexual assault - sexual contact without proper consent?

[–]ImreallyIgnorantsory[🍰] 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

A little bit of tongue play is so minor its not even worth getting pissy about. Was it a bit misleading of course but we're talking about a young college party, the guy even says he went to the party to do stupid fun college things. Making out with random people is what a lot of people do with college.

I still don't see your point, are you trying to classify this as sexual assault so we can bitch and moan just and get people into trouble with the law just because we feel like it?

He made out with her, willingly. At a party where booze was likely involved. Then she showed him her situation and they talked it through rationally.

Now if she forced him to continue then we'd be talking sexual assault but everything in this story is 100% consensual and frankly not even that interesting unless you have some kind unnecessary hate towards trans and wish he reacted aggressively.

I'm not going to deny if the roles were reversed it would be a different outcome, but for this particular case there is nothing to bitch about. You're just looking for reasons to get mad

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I'm with this guy. Getting mad at this kind of shit is the same as extreme feminists getting mad about manhole covers being called "MANhole covers". Waste of energy and waste of time.

If these people kissing were actual sexual assault, then every other random make-out at that party was also sexual assault, since everybody puts up an unrealistic front.

[–]LittleCrazee-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

u/trudatness actually makes some valid points relating to how if the roles were reversed and this was done to a woman it would be socially vilified and condemned as rape or some other such thing. Also, that society seems hell bent on pushing tolerance of everything regardless of your own beliefs. The wheels come off though with his later comments which show that he is maybe a little more personally invested in the shaming of gays than he is of just being incensed about the apparent social hypocrisy that occurs in relation to incidents like this. Starts to reek of a hate speech rant rather than a social injustice rant.

I personally don't hate on gays or transgenders or anyone of a differing sexual preference from mine other than pedophilia and bestiality. Is that intolerant of me? Anyway, I think you should be able to do what ever the hell you want with whoever the hell you want to as long as they are also a consenting adult. I also think you should also be able to be homophobic without being shamed either. Equality, like some people's sexuality, goes both ways. I don't agree with hate speech though which is what u/trudatness seems to be leaning towards.

That being said, I think I would be pretty pissed if I unknowingly made out with a transgender person especially if it was in front of other people. Not because I'm homophobic which I think is fine too but because, like u/trudatness pointed out, the "hook-up" occurred under false or mistaken pretenses. Would I punch the person out? No, but I'd still be mad because people who may have seen it would then talk and as people wrongfully convicted of crimes know, the court of popular opinion is often times stronger than the truth.

People see you kissing a transgender, they're going to assume, some ignorantly, some willfully ignorant, that you were down with it. That sort of stigma would be a pain in the ass to shake and all because you simply didn't know any better. Some will say that being mistaken by some people to be gay should not be viewed as negative but everyone is, to some degree, allowed and encouraged to cultivate a certain self image. In the same way that popular culture overwhelmingly pushes us to be tolerant of gays and transgenders and to allow them to be seen and perceived how they want to be, straight people deserve the same right.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Whenever anyone levies criticisms against homosexuals, the knee jerk reaction is to assume the person making that criticism has some kind of hatred issue.

So people avoid the subject generally because they don't want that stigma.

I don't give a shit. For my money, being treated as an equal means you're just as eligible to be confronted on bad behavior as anyone else.

I worked in the restaurant business for a long time and worked with many gay dudes. There is no ethereal sacred mystery about them.

Yeah, they have it tough, people fuck with them unnecessarily at times and that sucks. There's no denying it, but if you hang around them long enough, especially when they are in groups, most of the time they are insufferable assholes. Any and all pity you might feel about their situation rapidly dissipates.

Most of the time they get into these little cliquey groups and if you're a straight dude in their sphere it's only a matter of time before they do some rude shit like have some loud boorish epically graphic conversations about gay sex just to purposefully be assholes about it.

If you think you can just ignore them and they'll lose interest and stop after a while, you'd be wrong in that assumption. They just get louder and more obnoxious about it until becomes just about everything they talk about all fucking day. Then you're like Dudes, can you talk about something else beside fucking each other in the ass and coming on each other's faces? I'm trying to eat my employee meal here.

Then it's WHAT ARE YOU SOME KIND OF HOMOPHOBE!?! NOBODY ASKED YOU! like they waited for weeks for you to get sick of their shit and say something so they can lay that accusation on you.

Could you imagine a woman in a similar situation? Holy fuck there'd be lawsuits... lawsuits everywhere.

Before I got into restaurant work, I was a good well-trained liberal who always said I never had any issue with gay people and that it's wrong to hate gay people and they deserve compassion and understanding.

After 10 years in the restaurant business I was like Fuck these faggots, what a bunch of fucking assholes.

Through the years, I've definitely met some very cool gay people, too. So yeah it is unfair to paint them all with a broad brush like that. I will say this though. The ones that I saw get along with straight people were the ones who didn't have any insecurities about who they were and didn't hate all straight people and make their being gay everyone's problem. They just seemed comfortable in their own skin and could just be themselves.

What I've personally witnessed is that most of the time, all they have to do is be cool and chilled out and most straight people will welcome them into their circles and be very cool to them, even the bro's bros are cool about it (well mostly).

So I'll admit that yeah lately, I've been reading some really vitriolic shit about straight dudes on reddit - some toxic root of all evil in the world garbage. It definitely reminded me of the fucking hateful rambling gay dudes in the restaurant biz would rip on and on about. Maybe I let loose a little, because I know it's all bullshit. I'm not going to profess to be some sort of expert on the gay experience, but what I see happening is that people seem to conflate infallibility with victimhood and give certain behaviors a pass - like dropping a crying game trans move on an unsuspecting naive straight dude. I happen to think that's bullshit. Gay people are 100% capable of being every bit of a shitbag as anyone else and nobody should make pretenses otherwise.

At this point I think I've sufficiently had my say on the subject and don't want to go on and on any further about how hypocritical and fucked up gay culture can be.

[–]1sailorJery-2 points-1 points0 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

unrealistic front is not the same as concealing your gender identity. It's certainly crossing a line that no straight male is permitted to cross.

Proper consent? Who the fuck gave you TRP ENDORSEMENT?

You know, I´ll bite. Just because I´m tired of having to swim through so much angst and anger from a lot of the posters here, who don´t seem to know a bit about what redpill is.

It sure as fuck isn´t about being homo-/transgenderphobic.

Complaining about a guy who makes out with a transgender is like saying "fake it til you make it" is wrong, it´s like a flock of hens complaining that someone is the workplace has been outed as a convicted killer. "OH MY GOD - and he was walking among us like he was one of us".

Seriously, get over yourselves and your insecurities. Once again, you´re placing blame on someone outside of yourselves. No one forced him to make out with what you want to label as "a guy". And, unlike some of you, it was no big deal to him. This ain´t /r/MensRights. Actually, it reminds me of a story a friend of mine told me.

He was on vacation with some friends, one of them was one of the few professional boxers in Norway (there are 2 countries in the world where professional boxing is illegal, Norway - and Cuba). They were chilling in the hotel room, and the boxer was talking about a woman he had made out with. The others laughed and said "You know she was a bloke, right?"

He didn´t. What did one of the most physically dangerous persons in Norway at the time do then? He laughed it off. Why not? Why be ashamed/threathened by something that differs from yourself?

Fuck this lowly angst some of you are displaying. That shit has nothing to do here. Grow the fuck up. Stop being afraid. Be the best you can be.

That being said, I understand where you are coming from, the whole feeling of being fooled, mislead, whatever. So what? You meet the woman of your dreams, your oneitis, you live happily ever after....until...

...it doesn´t matter what it is. She´s cheating on you, she´s a serial killer, she eats babies, or she´s transgender. It´s what you do, how you feel, that matters.

Some of you are teenagers, early twenties, just about given up hope, found this place. Shut up - just read and internalize for 6 months - a year, before you start sharing your "wisdom".

If i had eight hands, I wouldn´t need more to count the ones worth listening to here. The rest of you are still learning. Act like it. Just like your favourite football team isn´t an extension of you, so ISN´T redpill. You either become it, or you stay an angry bluepill who loudly procalims to be subrscribing to redpill ideologies.

People take one look at you, and judge the rest from that...yay, great going.

Did he bring his kids to the bloke's wedding? You get caught in a compromising position of course you want to handle it to the best of your ability with as much grace and self respect as you possibly can. However, you certainly don't befriend your transgressors on principle of a phantom ideal after suffering that kind of personal affront.

Lets not mince words here, we've all made bad decisions and made some stupid decisions at times, but you don't compound those mistakes by failing to preserve your dignity.

This applies to any transgression made by anyone in any circumstance and is applicable to a broad set of examples.

This particular example has a little further resonance, because it's another one of those situations where the disposable man has to take it in stride and the reverse would be seen as utterly intolerable.

We're talking about making out with someone and they whip a fucking dick out on you. It'd be like WHOA, WTF IS THAT? That would be some seriously heinous shit to have to deal with.

What, you can't talk about the dumb asshole shit gay people do because it's taboo or something? What do gay people have such a golden oppression ticket they are beyond criticism? Bullshit.

I don't take shit from anyone. IDGAF what kind of oppression taboo they think they got. Don't fucking cross the line with me.

Thank you for further cementing how you have been portraying yourself so far. So it´s about "asshole shit gay people" now? WTF are you even doing in this subreddit?

Have you even seen violence? You certainly have no clue about how people who are confident in their own identities behave.

If redpill was /r/conspiracy, you would have been outed as a shill already. You´re talking out of your ass.

Don´t cross the line with you? Are you twelve?

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Are you pissed off because I called out trans people for trying to run baitbus games on weak betas?

Is that it?

Did you come running here to white knight for the trans women?

Aww... How sweet of you.

[–]Endorsed Contributorleftajar1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Guys, we're blowing this shit way out of proportion.

A guy saw a girl he liked, isolated, and made out. She then did the mature, adult thing, and revealed that she was actually a he.

Our beta OP could have reacted angrily, out of disgust. There are many guys who would've done that. A lot of guys would be grossed out by kissing another guy.

Instead, beta OP reacts like a mature adult, and manages the emotions of his he/she. I actually admire his response, although the reddit circlejerk is bluepill as fuck.

He didn't lose his shit. That's admirable, but he made the transperson his lifelong friend, and bragged on it as if it was some great experience.

The circlejerk that came after it was totally BP as fuck.

[–]Endorsed Contributorleftajar1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Agreed. There isn't anything magical about a frickin' trannie.

So whether or not he's BP comes down to motivation. If he actually thought the trannie was a cool person, then good for him. But if he was doing it out of "not wanting to be politically incorrect," then fuck that.

A shaming comment? Really?

[–]nofaprecommender4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Dude, it's a shaming reply to a shaming post, lol! I know you're getting off on all this attention, haha.

[–][deleted] -3 points-2 points-1 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Dude every BPE is a source of shame.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Seriously, the odds of this actually occurring to anyone who posts on here do not justify the outrage and terror displayed on this thread.

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No doubt, but this speaks to people controlling the narrative on reddit and internet spaces elsewhere. People get a pretty imbalanced impression of morality (and reality for that matter) in circles of discussion and that translates badly IRL.

Part of the reason I threw up this post was to illustrate how people excuse the transgressions of others and pass it off as enlightenment. Its bizarre.

Another reason was to contrast some overarching feminist theories that only seem to apply in one direction.

[–]1sailorJery-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

outrage and terror? you're reading a bit more into it then I think is there. I'm more concerned with the principle of it being so blatantly hypocritical than I am with this guy tonguing a tranny.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I get it, you've got your tranny panties in a twist over the hypocrisy.

[–]1sailorJery0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I'm not a transsexual, why would you think I am?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Are you serious? So disappointed, thought I was responding to your Backpage ad.

[–]Wargame4life0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What a fucking chump, i would be throwing bombs if that was me, id be livid beyond belief.

[–]TRP VanguardCyralea-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

AskBeta's is the place where having any boundaries means you're a closeminded asshole. I can't believe they can't even draw the line with not wanting to suck dick.

[–]northsidefugitive-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No. No. Just no. Being transsexual sucks enough without you calling her a gay dude.

[–]iAmNotVelma-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So I saw that this ended up here and felt that some of the comments being left are completely one-sided in their approach. Of course the ideal situation would be for her to feel comfortable and safe enough to disclose that she was transgender. However there can be such a strong stigma attached to being trans that often one may not feel capable of doing so. And, as far as her misrepresenting her gender for physical intimacy, I believe the lasting friendship that was created is proof enough that she was not only after sex. I would just like to wish them both a wonderful life.

So, I subscribed to this sub because it seemed like a somewhat progressive place, if maybe a little too extreme- but now that I have found you are transphobic assholes, you can all go to hell. I would unsub, but apparently dissenting opinions can't be found since you have to subscribe to be here. But seriously, fuck y'all.

Just keep telling yourselves that your better than everyone else, I'm sure you won't deny yourself of potentially positive experiences because of your misogynistic views.

Edit: You all truly disgust me. For real, you all need to grow up- this isn't even related to the philosophy of TRP- it's just a bunch of frame-lacking people trying to validate their sexuality by being demeaning towards trans people. I have pity for some of you, and want to fight the rest of you.

[–][deleted] 16 points17 points18 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

You want to wear women's clothes and make up 10 different nonsensical pronouns? Knock yourself the fuck out. Who cares? That's not what I'm talking about.

Just keep telling yourselves that your better than everyone else, I'm sure you won't deny yourself of potentially positive experiences because of your misogynistic views.

Straight dudes don't ever think that reaching down a chicks pants and grabbing tube sausage as a potentially positive experience

That's where you're fucking delusional.

[+]EliQuince-11 points-10 points-9 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Maybe these barriers of 'straight' 'gay' or whatever constructs that society has ingrained into your psyche of what people are 'supposed' to be attracted to are what need to be evaluated on your end.

I guarantee that transwomen give better head than about 90% of the girls you've ever been with, y'know why? Because they know how dicks work- so yes, you are denying yourself a positive experience because of your warped perceptions on sexuality.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

OK so not wanting a dude to suck me off makes me have a warped sense of sexuality?

No it makes me heterosexual - and apparently that's something you have a problem accepting.

Spare me the gay pick up line.

I'm not anti-gay. I'm pro-self respect. If I have to check motherfuckers to make sure they respect my boundaries, then that's what I'm going to do.

This "CIS SCUM" bashing is getting old man. Not wanting to be bait and switched on something I think is going to be heterosexual sex doesn't make me an asshole.

[+]EliQuince-7 points-6 points-5 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

No, implying that transwomen are 'dudes' is what makes you have a warped sense of sexuality. Gender =/= sex. Spare me the 'XY chromosome, if you're born with a penis you're a man' BS.

You being heterosexual isn't the problem, it's the insinuation that every trans woman is some kind of trickster that's trying to trick you into sleeping with them which is the problem. How dare they try and be attractive?!

What does 'self-respect' have to do with anything? In this context, OP was the one who initiated this situation, and maybe this person could have been more upfront, but they just wanted to share affection with someone who they felt a connection with, and somehow they're the asshole? Sorry that my brain doesn't match my genitals.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm sorry but I'll never see anyone with a cock as something other than male. That's how I identify male and female persons.

That is how my biology works - that is how my sexual attraction works.

Hate me if you want for that, but it comes off to me as a gay pick up line. It's OK, because I'm not really male.

[–]PrimaxAUS9 points10 points11 points 11 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Maybe if you want to see dissenting opinions, try expressing one with actual reasoning.

[+]EliQuince-6 points-5 points-4 points 11 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Look at these comments- there's my reasoning. I'm being downvoted for expressing an unpopular opinion, which validates my claim that you don't want to hear dissenting opinions. Anything I can elucidate for you on the matter, let me know- that is, if you're willing to listen.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I have looked at the comments. Majority of them are asking why this is posted here and/or what this has to do with the sub. You seem to be reaching here to get some sort of validation of your dislike of this sub. I've seen no disparaging comments towards transgenders here other than maybe a lack of understanding. I myself don't know much about the subject.

This is, I'd venture, a hetero male dominated sub interested in genetic women only. Getting upset at a mis-posted link in here seems like a waste of everyones time. Especially here. You already have a preconceived notion of the people in here so hy bother? You'd have better luck posting a Why Dogs Are Better diatribe in r/cats

[–]EliQuince-3 points-2 points-1 points 11 years ago* (6 children) | Copy Link

Because I feel that education on this subject could be well used by some of the people in this sub.

Seems to me something like that is a pretty fucked up vile thing to do and isn't worthy of any kind of "understanding" and/or "awareness".

That's a pretty transphobic, dickish comment and it's the top of the thread, with not even an inkling of trying to understand other viewpoints.

I don't subscribe to the notion that people should all live in their own little bubbles of reality ignoring the viewpoints of others and believe that if people were actually to discuss this issue instead of just downvoting me that we could all learn something. I like to educate people and look at other view points, but the tone of these comments is really disheartening as someone who falls within this spectrum.

If you look at the comments I've posted specifically, there's a lot of transphobia and misogyny evident within coming from a lack of education on the subject matter.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

That comment is from OP, the only one I've seen making any disparaging comments to transgender here. And that's his opinion. I don't like it. But why wwste your time here? He also posted, in my opinion, to the wrong sub. You probably aren't going to change anyone's mind here.

[–]EliQuince-3 points-2 points-1 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

It's like the starfish analogy.

1000's of starfish get washed up on a beach and are all dying, but there's a guy who's going by and throwing as many as he can back in. Someone tells him "You know you're not going to save all of them right?" and he replies "Yeah, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't try to save the ones I can"

If I can change just one or two peoples mind on this subject, it will be worth it.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I seriously doubt you will. This isnt a sub based on progressive outlooks to transgenders. So why get upset? I'll give you this, I think op is igorant and even hostile towards TGs. Who knows, he may be one those guys who fetishize them.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You seriously don't have anything better to do with your time?

[–]eagleshigh-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why do you guys (should I use a different word?) Always make up these stupid words? All these dumb gender identities?

[–]PrimaxAUS-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If you're so consumed with imaginary internet points that you're unwilling to discuss the reasons behind a point of view, I guess it doesn't really mean much to you.

Downvotes are part of expressing an unpopular opinion, which is the only way to change people's minds. They're nothing to be afraid of.

[–]Jar_of_apples6 points7 points8 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

So, I subscribed to this sub because it seemed like a somewhat progressive place,

That's absolutely adorable.

[–]EliQuince-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Naive I know. Don't worry I won't be here much longer. You all really fucking suck.

[–]TattedGuyser3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

It all falls under openness and transparency. Trans-women are not women and as much as they'd like to believe they are, they aren't.

By engaging in a relationship, I am seeking someone to pass my genes onto future generations if I deem the person to be of quality to reproduce with. A transwoman can never fulfill that role, so for her to approach me as a female (and I don't care how good science is at making a warm hole or creating fake tits) that person CANNOT provide me with what I'm looking for. So for them to act as a woman is just deceitful in my eyes. They need to be transparent about who they are. They want to be a transwoman? great! Want to deceive some guy into making out with you because you didnt tell them about your operation beforehand? I wouldn't feel bad if they got punched in the mouth. Straight guys don't want to make out with other guys, no matter what the other person thinks their gender is. Otherwise they'd be gay.

[+]EliQuince-7 points-6 points-5 points 11 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Wow, could you be any more ignorant? Seriously. Educate yourself.

I'm not even going to validate you with a proper response to such ignorance. You can get punched in the fucking mouth for all I'm concerned, in fact, I'd love to.

It's not fucking deception- you are the one deceiving yourself into believing that sexuality is so rigid, and casting blame on to them only shows your own insecurities with your own self.

[–]TattedGuyser1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Educate myself on what? The fact that I don't want to be with a chick who has a dick? I'm quite confident my sexuality knows that I want a healthy young woman to start a family with and pass on my genetics. It's pure deception to lie to someone about who you are and your ability to provide your roll in a relationship. But I'm all about honesty.. but hey, #JustIgnorantHonesty

[–]EliQuince-4 points-3 points-2 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

They're not lying about who they are, that is who they are - this is what you need to educate yourself about. There are infertile women, too, would you not date them for such a thing?

[–]TattedGuyser-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yes, absolutely, or if she didn't know, then once we found out then yes, that would be a reason to end the relationship. To move on and find someone who can provide me with what I'm looking for. The difference? A trans KNOWS they arn't able to provide that role. They are lying from the moment they don't inform you. A transwoman is not a woman, she may not be a man anymore, but she is not a woman.. in fact, she's a transwoman.

[–]TRP VanguardCyralea-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No, it's what they feel like they are. A woman that feels like she's the descendant of an alien species due to some mental illness doesn't make it so.

Physiologically they resemble males, which is enough to trigger aversion in hetero males. Why is that so hard for you to get? I'm cool with trans people existing and doing their thing, but I have zero desire to be with one.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lmao progressive? Where the hell do you think you are?

[–]1Zackcid0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
