Speaking in the context of a young 20s woman, the median partner counts vary in studies between 2 and 5 with standard deviations of 5-7.

So a woman within the range of 10-12 is basically the upper threshold of "normal" or the "high end of normal." Basically past this, you're atypical.

In many studies, they didn't even have any women report more than 20 partners. So any woman telling you she's been with 20 guys etc is extremely promiscuous.

Do you really think being in a world of limitless options and sex being the courting stage now that you are the only one that she would do that for, after really not knowing you ? To me that is mostly how people rack up their counts.

Unless she's openly religious, waiting for marriage etc, no. Which is why TRP basically advises you to assume this is a bad idea no matter how appealing she looks as a candidate.

The most obvious tell I've seen here mentioned is a low sensitivity to disgust. So women who "aren't girly" are going to trend more right. More reserved women unless they're covert, are more left. But this is like trying to pick the best crackhead to be an employee.

The only way to really "bin" women is basically naive or experienced. If she's experienced the difference between "slut" and the upper end of normal is mostly superfluous.

so what? life is hard in general. and if you want people to respect you, it usually happens when you choose to take the difficult path instead of doing whatever is easiest. this is true of most things in life.

I picture mostly girls 1 and 2 .There isn't much difference between the two imo.If the date didn't seem likely to work out or the dude only wanted you for sex you should have vetted better.I don't think girl 3 is likely to reach a very high n count.Anyway it doesn't matter how you get your notches when they surpass a certain number ( for me it's 15-20 , depending on age) she becomes undesirable for a serious relationship.

The problem for me, as an older guy dating women in their mid to late 30s, is that it becomes really hard for me to justify settling down with a woman who's had sex with many men.

I understand completely that women are expected to have sex after a month of dating. That's just how the game is these days.

As a guy who casually dates on apps, I can find a relationship like this - 5-6 dates after a month or two - about once or twice a year. A woman has a much easier time matching and can do this 10 times in a year with ease if she dates a lot.

So if she's been dating off and on, since college, like this, her count adds up to a lot by the time she's 37 years old. Again, that doesn't mean she's a slut. It's just how dating worksin 2019, people waiting forever to settle down, etc.

But that's not my problem. I don't want to marry a woman who has slept with 80 guys, even if they weren't random club fucks in the bathroom.

A woman with a high N count isn't a good partner for me. So it's likely I'll either find a younger, foreign wife like a few of my friends and relatives already have done, or just go mgtow.

The high N-Count only matters to me because I didn’t get to have casual sex, and obviously the men who got to have sex with her casually got to. It’s an inadequacy thing and she would always be a reminder that I didn’t get to engage in casual sex. Definitely. #1 is just promiscuous. If a woman racks up a huge N because she let herself be used repeatedly be used for sex by guys (bullet point 2), she's not the sharpest tool in the drawer and on top of that never figured out what her league is - probably due to the fact that she felt entitled to hotter guys than she was able to keep. And if a woman only had tons of mini relationships that for some occult reason never worked out (bullet points 2 and 3), she either sucks at screening for compatible guys, or she is insufferable herself, or both.

Personally, I wouldn't want to date either of those.

If a man told me he had slept with 30 people: 4 were girlfriends and the others were casual - I wouldn't bat an eye. If he told me that he had 30 girlfriends: that would be a huge red flag.

As a man who's very much turned off by high N, I have to agree with this sentiment; If a woman went through a lot of relationships and wants a 'special connection' in a relationship, the sheer amount of bonding hormone released during sex means that she's already experienced the height of 'special connection' too many times for me (or any other guy) to give her anything unique. If she just fucked around (a slut) then 'special' doesn't enter into it.

I mean, the paternity concern when she cheats because she's accustomed to seeking that thrill disqualifies her for a relationship, but ASSUMING it didn't, the relationship would be better quality than if she'd gone through multiple LTR's. TBH in that scenario even cheating on such a woman's part would be no skin off my back; cheating is a problem because it fucks up the 'special connection' you've got going, but so does entering into a relationship with someone who's high N to begin with, so a former slut has done all the damage she's gonna do already.

Do you think there is difference between:

Women who fucked men at random just to get fucked because they had an impulse that said they had to (I assume this is the impulse that people think triggers likely to cheat on you)

Women who dated around and slept with their dates but it just didn't work out after - or they found out the guy only wanted her for sex

Women who have had many mini relationships (think 3-6month boyfriends) and again, they didn't work out.

Of course there are differences between these women, but the fact is that they all have high n count.

You cannot have a good quantitative value on how each are prone to cheat or break up with you, but you can say all of them are more prone than normal by your descriptions. Just that they are for different reasons.

The first has heavy urges this is prone to cheating/breaking up, the second has non restraint and/or is dumb as anyone can see men who only want sex from first glance and the third is again cheating/breaking up urges, as she cannot keep a LTR.

Also, you seen to forget that just 20 partners is just the beginning of many. I had partners with a n count above 100, and I've heard of some who have a n count of +200. I do not consider a n count of 10 something noteworthy. But if your n count is above 100 in just 25 years of being born. Well... can you really say this is not a heavy alarm?

My context is a bit weird but I see it as "career orientated". Because if you start looking at marriage or serious LTRs, what you don't want to do is "hire" a woman that's bouncing from job to job, having multiple jobs at once and or can't keep a job. You want to avoid giving those women CFO status because they don't have the experience for it.

Yeah, okay, you got fired a few times. You smoked a few sausages to pay the bills when you were young, whatever. But do you have the capacity to be in a serious relationship? Can you make constructive decisions, do you have good work ethic? And if you are a good sausage smoker, I don't care just as long as you continue doing that with me.

When I envision a high N-Count woman, I see the crazy eyes of a female psychopath/sociopath, or the hollowed out eyes of a junkie, or the constant cycle of bipolar disorder, or a woman going through the idealization-devaluation-discarding process of a narcissist.

I almost never see a psychologically healthy woman. Certainly not a woman I want to be with.
