I'm a short guy (5'7). I'm obvious not conventionally attractive (I have decent face, but 5'7 is never going to be sexy). I know that some women are willing to date short men or atleast give them a chance. Some women even marry short guys ( although according to research aren't as happy as when they are married to a tall guy).

So let's say I'm in relationship right now. The girl likes all aspects of my personality and our bond. But will the women really feel attraction to me? Sure, she might enjoy my company like a friend would. She might enjoy our partnership. But she might not desire me at all. I feel like I might just be a glorified friend to her.

I have a hard time understanding women. I know women are attracted physically and psychologically to men. But I feel like it's really the physical attraction that is what makes them attracted to the guy or makes her want to have sex with him. The psychology aspect just makes him a companion.

Some of you women are probably dating or married to guys who are not necessarily ideal genetic specimens (maybe they are short or fat). Do you still desire your SO? Does this psychological aspect make you want him? Not just as someone to go camping with but someone who you enjoy having sex with and making out with and having romantic stuff with?

I feel like part of why couples have dead bedrooms is because women are dating their best friend, not their sexual/romantic interest.

Maybe I could be wrong, I'm trying to figure this all out
