They absolutely are. Not only that, but even here on PPD the bloopers have, over time, gone from denying that they're harsh to men, to more frequently admitting to it with a "that's just how it is" pseudo-explanation.

I think they are tough on incels, in particular. Some BPers often sweep women's faults under the rug, whenever RPers bring up valid point regarding women's flaws. Meanwhile, if there is a case where it's the men's faults, they are very critical of it. I mean, what's wrong with accepting our flaws? All of us are human and we're capable of making mistakes after all.

Its about socially awkward men who don't have the opportunity to learn the rules, shy dudes, introverted dudes, guys that are above average on the Autism Spectrum but dont cross the threshold.

And how it clashes with female expectations, male disposability and blatant misandry.

Slightly more seriously, I can believe that men are lazier than women whilst still believing that individual men are not lazy. It's a question of finding a guy who suits you.

I think a lot of people are harsh on the internet. I don't think bloopers are harsher than anyone else around here as a general rule. A lot of terpers are very harsh and disrespectful and a lot of bloopers respond in kind. It's immature really.

I have a great deal of sympathy for so-called incels and many others around here, but I do expect people to treat others as they want to be treated themselves. Many guys here seem like trolls or just misogynists and it gets my back up. Hard to always respond kindly to that...

This sub has a filtering effect. Rp men are harsh on men because they want to see them self improve, or because they want to feel superior and AMOG other males. Bloops are harsh on men because feminism has them convinced the majority of men are selfish, sexist, coasting along on privilege, etc. The altogether effect is self reinforcing misandry. People who make quippy comments like "so what, toughen the fuck up" will find themselves being upvoted and admired, and the cycle continues.

Society in a microcosm basically. Human nature is to despise the weak male and sympathize with/protect the weak female. Just how it is.

Yeah. They've broken the world down along these imagined privilege lines. So there's no such thing as objectively good or bad behavior, just good and bad people based on how privileged they are.

I think it's supposed to motivate you to improve yourself. However, a cartman-esque "screw you guys, I'm going home" is a lot more natural response to that for most guys, at which point you are shamed again for being a quitter.

I'm a bleeding heart progressive so the internet is often a little too harsh for my taste. Or at least not nearly intelligent and subtle enough in their mocking.

But how can you not see that the extra aggressive tone taken against incels and the rest of the manosphere is a direct response to the appalling language those groups use themselves. Come on man. Nobody gets riled up when a white dude complains that he's lonely. It's when he starts saying heinous shit about women that people get a little rude and short with him.
