If he wants to rely solely on money to get girls he'd need enough that you'd clock him as rich straight off. This would mean driving an expensive car, being able to buy a load of expensive drinks and gifts on a whim, wearing designer clothes, etc.

To do this regularly you'd need at least $500k a year minimum, but to do it without compromising other parts of your life you'd need to be a millionaire, whether that's in yearly income or stashed in the bank (or assets etc, yes I know millionaires don't actually just keep cash in the bank lol).

It won't make you alpha -- it makes certain women available to you who are willing to trade down on alpha in exchange for access to a guy with lots of cash and wealth.

How much is that? That depends on where you are. It's more in NY and LA than in Chicago, but it's still a lot more than what you night be thinking. In other words, it isn't what a partner at a law firm is making, for example -- it's more than that. It has to stand out beyond the "working rich" guys like law firm partners (most of whom end up as higher end BB rather than gold-digger bait). Realistically, for that approach you're aiming for upper 6 figures or 7 figures in the bigger coastal cities. In Chicago, it may be closer to mid-6 figures, maybe.

Basically, even at those levels, you'd be at the bottom of the gold-digger totem pole. Your competition here consists of athletes, movie stars and business moguls who are truly wealthy, not just guys who earn $$$$. So, you're at the bottom of the pole compared to these guys even if you are literally killing it in terms of people who have regular day jobs. It takes a lot more money than it did 50 years ago, because women earn their own substantial "normal" incomes now, so to be in gold digger range you have to be well, well beyond that. Think Mark Cuban and Elon Musk.

It varies by location, without question -- more money in places where money flocks, like NY, LA or Miami. Less in places where less money flocks. Not sure it varies much by race -- possible, but athletes and movie stars, rock/rap stars, etc. seem to do well from all races in the gold digger world, but they have comparable amounts of wealth.
