Before you say "of course I would rather a woman love me for me," hear me out.

Yes, if a woman loves you for you, you could be rich or poor and she'd stay.

But if she loved you for your money, you could hypothetically gain weight or be an asshole or have an affair and she'd still stay because you have money.

Case in point: a woman friend of mine married a super wealthy guy (think like 300k/year) and he treats her like shit. He had an affair and bullies her when she pisses him off. She has kids with him but she can't give up her luxurious lifestyle. She won't have a "mediocre" lifestyle. She stayed even though the relationship is falling apart and he's fat and balding. Clearly she's only with him for the money.
