Hell of a strawman you've built for yourself... nobody cares if a group of people convene to complain about something. In the case of truecels the spewing of hate and predatory fixation with teenagers (among other things) that gets people concerned. Lots of unhinged, unwell people in those communities who would really benefit from some professional help.

Feminists? Is this just used as a general slur against those you don't like? I think most people don't like people who whine, but you're likely to find the most sympathetic ear with feminists, since they're already adapet at whining.

Btw. the difference between complaining and whining, is that a man who complains listed to advice, a man who whine don't want advice. What advice have all the incel threads made incels take to heart?

Venting frustrations is one thing, but this post is incredibly dishonest in thinking that is the big issue with incels.

The truth is that if it were moderate venting it wouldn't matter. There are two problems here.

The first is that self described incels wallow in their self pity. This makes them less likely to open their eyes as to how to get out of their situation. It ends up functioning more as an echo chamber than as an offmychest equivalent.

The second is that it recruits people. I officially lost the capability for wizard powers at the age of 23. I know people who have had it worse. If these people were to fall in with the incel community, it would make their situation worse.

This is irrelevant to the fact that /r/truecels is an abomination.

I am very familiar with the community! I am glad they have a place to vent and hopefully figure out some other options to increase their success in dating or hobbies to enjoy their lives. However, when they say horrible things, such as they only call their mom a few times a year to tell her they hope she dies of cancer... Or any number of their pedophiliac comments, I wish they would get therapy. I certainly don't hope they kill themselves! But the threatening comments are a little scary and I wish they had more resources to help themselves.
